Did you take Trade Deadline Day off work?
So how many other hockey fanatics took the day off work? I've been taking this day off work or skipping school for at least 10 years now. Usually get up at 7am watch TV, surf the net for rumors, play NHL on Xbox during slow times and drink way too much coffee.
What is your Trade Day tradition?

What about the option for doesnt work on Mondays??? Cuz that's me!
I have my laptop and NHL network on with the TSN feed. Twitter is going and that's about it. I have to keep some of my boyz in the loop because they have work or class.

If you are watching TSN -
http://yfrog.com/mozecsj - look for a commercial with this bunch of people in Calgary. (I'm there
)
I assume it'll be played when someone gets traded, as the signs suggest it. "I don't like it" - "don't care" - "Who wins the dash for nash" - "That's more like it" etc:

I'd have to take a vacation day in order to stay home, so I'm just at work doing a whole lotta nothing....
I suspect I'll get some work done this year, I don't anticipate a busy deadline today.

Have taken the day off the past 3 years.
This year I only had one day left to take before I get new holiday allocation on Thursday, so why not use it for this.

Working from home, so I have a stream up, but honestly I think it will be a quiet day.

My job involves a lot of computer work, so I'll be in front of a screen anyways. There wasn't really a point to taking the day off.

Not worth using PTO when it's easy enough to work and follow the deadline
