Meh, I never thought it was boring. Play to your strengths and win games, who cares what fans of other teams think? Were you guys upset with your cups? Are Rangers and Blues fans upset with where they are in the standings?

Is it a popular thing to hate on everything all NY sports teams do? Now that we win this fairly easy game, we are the so called "boring trap team" all of a sudden. It's funny that the Devils played the exact same style today but couldn't score and now they are criticizing us. If they would have won, I doubt they would have called it so boring. Morons.

Agreeing with what SAvery16 said, I felt that the team kinda sat back and was stuck in our own zone for much of the third.

This was a great day! We kept Dubi and played a rock solid game. Thoroughly enjoyed this one.

The Rangers aren't obligated to "entertain" anyone, least of all Devils fans.

Both teams played the game to win, and this time the Rangers came out on top.

If the possibility of being traded ever became a distraction to any of the Rangers' players, then I'm glad that the deadline has passed.

come on, not every Devils fan is like that. Every fan base has it's typical hypocritical ******.

you guys played a great game, playing defensive isn't boring if your team wins at the end. I wish we had someone like McD also

Yes, didn't generate much offense but extremely aggressive on the puck. Overall solid effort from him. Drew a penalty and then fought Clarkson.

Obviously by "Devil fans", I mean the fans who are saying this nonsense.

McDonagh is built like an Ox.... So is Kreider actually... The best part of the way this team is shaping up is that we've got a bunch of players in the system who aren't going to get pushed around and take **** from anyone out on the ice.

Trust me, every Rangers fan who called the Devils boring, would trade the Rangers that would lose 5-4 at best every other game for those Devils.

Lol at the Debbies fans crying on the main boards. So we should just start letting in goals for fun, right?

I think some are trying to get back at some of the ranger fans for all the snipes over the years. Game wasn't boring at all. Great intensity for first 2 periods.

It would be nice to see a few laughers - you know, for us older guys this is three hours of tension. That said, we obviously don't have the talent for that type of game. Frankly, I don't mind being comparedf to the old Devils - roll four lines, grind it out, stifling defense, HOF goalie, they won three Cups.

BTW, Dubinsky was aggressive and played great defense tonight. If he plays every game like this, doesn't matter if he scores much. He was very visible.

McDonagh for Gomez. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!!!!!!!!

As gay as it sounds, these guys literally played like they were all so happy no one got moved at the deadline. Very sweet thing to see, you can see how much they like each other..

Whata load of horse crap on the main board. They're all mad cause we beat them. We have awesome D. Not trap there is a difference. Damn lol.. yet they still complain when they win...they're more obsessed with us than their own team...

Disagree. Hard fought game on both ends. We had a lot of bad passes but I thought it was a solid game.
