Agreed. Effort was there. Devils just seem unnerved by the King and the rangers control of the shooting lanes, in that they were over-passing for the perfect tic-tac goal.

I have to say, the Devils would worry me in the playoffs. Whoever scores first seems to be able to shut the other team down. But, hats off to the Rangers D tonight!

In the first I called it. First goal wins this one.

Exactly. I was happy when Kovalchuk finally let one go, even though Lundqvist over exaggerated that glove save and it was going wide anyway.

Just SHOOT. Elias is at the doorstep and he passes it behind his back. WHAT?

I thought the same thing once Hagelin scored.

That pass was unfathomable. I thought for sure we were giving up a goal there.

Wasn't much on that play. He's had much better performances than that. Credit to the refs for not buying into that, Callahan was well outside the crease and had every right to that area of the ice. Hockey play.

The "difference" is, if you claim the Rangers arent a trapping hockey team, you need to take Ice Hockey 101, and learn what the NZT is. My guess is 95% of Rangers fans are well-aware that they played the trap tonight, dont be in the non-knowledgeable 5%.

Nice.

And just for symmetry, in those rare years where for whatever reason they don't (may they be few and far between!), you should post the Spalding barfing in the sunroof of the doctor's 911 clip.

Just dropping in to say what a great game to watch, and that I think we should pretty proud that we're fans of such a fun and exciting game! the majority of America doesn't know what its missing
To bring myself down a few pegs, does any one have the video of Marty when he dropped like he was a soccer player?

To be fair, he was pretty deep and probably figured too deep to beat Lundqvist, but that pass was just retarded.

I heard Dubinsky had some pretty strong words for Clarkson after the game in the post-game interviews. Anyone care to enlighten me?

Clarkson does some inexplicable things out there when he sees the opposition taking liberties. It is baffling some times.

I was at the game. Believe me, I saw the whole shebang. I'm just wondering what Dubinsky said.

12-4-2 against the division. Just awesome considering we have the toughest division in conference and maybe even the league, central is pretty tough but all those teams are eating Columbus alive. The Isles at least have some compete level against us.

It was a matter of time before someone fought him and he usually goes after guys smaller than him.

What's funny is the devils continued to play defensively as if they were protecting that 1-0 deficit.

Not recently. He fought Phaneuf a few games back. And then last friday, he pissed off the entire Vancouver team, including Bieksa and a few others.

Rangers put on a defensive clinic tonight, but the PP and offense had me pulling my hair out.

I hope Clarkson gets suspended. Literally hope that piece of **** gets his ass kicked next time we play them. Good for Dubinsky for standing up.

Just because we trapped tonight doesn't make us a trapping team. A trapping team is a team who traps the majority of the time, and if you think we do, you certainly don't watch many Ranger games.
