Tinordi is going to be a bottom 4 guy at best he is not progressing well at all which is telling especially in an organization like London that seems to turn out some pretty decent NHLers.
Where did you hear he is not progressing well? I've heard nothing but good things about him this year.
I don't expect Tinordi to be a top pairing guy by any means, he fills a need and has mid-pairing potential. He's not a great prospect but he compliments the above average prospects we have (Beaulieu and Subban if he counts). A Komisarek-type, so to speak, though he has the potential to be better.

He leads the league with a +39. I think he's doing good.

I watch him play almost every Fri night here in London and believe me he is not close to what people expect him to be the only thing he has similar to his dad is a last name. His hockey sense is not very good his positioning is poor and he doesn't play with smarts.
I've never seen him ranked in anyone's top ten, and many rankings have Vasilevski over him. Late first rounder.
Vasilevski is a high-risk prospect at this stage, not so much that he couldn't develop well, just that he was drafted 8th overall by Salavat in the KHL, so, unlike Huberdeau, who was drafted 3 spots higher (Vityaz of all teams), the Russian factor may play against him.

How the hell can Tinordi lead the league with a +39? Is he on the ice with the top forwards?

Yeah, he had an incredible stretch of games earlier but he hasn't been that good in February. .895 save percentage and 3.48 GA. He could be drafted with one of our second round picks IMO.

Yes, I know the Habs developed goalies from the draft, but I'm not sure Subban will last that long as a Hab.

I guess that's why you're not a
scout because EVERY single scout I've read has said he's been outstanding this year and that he's got a VERY bright future ahead of him with the habs. Again I'd take the scouts opinion over anyone on here every day of the week, but I guess that's only obvious.
Horrible list... just one look at their top 10 Habs prospects shows how far THN has fallen.
The magazine just isn't what it used to be.
The recent top 20 from Hockey's Future that was just released is a far better assessment of our prospects.
Also keep in mind that our prospect pool in THN looks a lot worse than it does on Hockey's Future because of the way they determine what a prospect is and isn't... see Emelin.

Once again, while THN has certainly fallen in recent years, keep in mind that the rankings are done BY A PANEL OF NHL SCOUTS, and that each teams rankings are done by AN ACTUAL MEMBER OF THE ORGANIZATION. Whether it be a scout, gm, assistant gm, etc..
I'm still looking for confirmation that our top 10 list was done by a member of the org again, but it has been the case since the annual issues have been published.
This team drafted jarred tinordi a basically bottom pair dman instead of an offensive dynamo player like evgeny kuznetsov... -_-... just realized that ...just gets bad to worse...
