desharnais - eller - bourque
cole - plekanec - boomer (i think he's a right winger)
palushaj - gomez - pacioretty
blitzer - nokelainen - white

desharnais will finish his career on wings, it's just a matter of time, so let's speed it up a bit. eller = better finisher, better defensively. desharnais = better vision. match made in heaven

Now Boomer plays Centre or LW, and Cole plays RW.

But I think if one of DD or Eller had to play wing it would be Eller, I know Eller is better playing at Centre, but DD would be horrible at wing. In todays NHL it seems that its more important to have big wingers as opposed to be big centres.

Mtl line up is ugly, Tampa Bay looks even worse but for the fact that they got 2 stars (well I guess someone could argue that Mtl already got his superstar in DD who is almost already better than St-Louis and a 100 point scorer next year)

The Habs should really play Budaj in net tonight. I mean with the Tampa defense and goaltending, you have to expect that even the Habs will score at least 3 goals.

I'ma guess 3-2 for us tonight.

Geoffrion, Plekanec, and Patches will get the goals.

Remember what happened in '07? Toronto eliminated Montreal in the last game, then Tor got eliminated in a shootout the next day. I'm thinking history will repeat itself in a slightly more twisted way. Toronto will need the two points to make the playoffs but the win will put Montreal 2 points ahead of Edmonton in the Grigorenko sweepstakes. Yes the hockey gods are that funny.

A bit of cherry picking but i really think Palushaj has to pick up his game in order to stay in the plans. Not showing a lot in his stints. He has the reminder of the season to prove otherwise.

Why can't Plekanec just play with Bourque and Geoffrion...FFS Cunneyworth enough of the Grinders on the top lines. Stop turning Plekanec into a 4th line center.

Must be a French thing to put defensemen on offense.

I disagree. Campoli is terrible, granted. Kaberle might be worse. He's just OK on the PP and abysmal 5 on 5. I like Diaz but he's having a tough time out there lately. He's regressed in my opinion. I would certainly dress Weber before Campoli or Diaz but he's struggled also.

We can only hope that Markov comes back strong next year. At least the top four we be very solid.

That lineup is what happens when you trade away two top six wingers and lose one to injury.

I don't think Stamkos could do much if his wingers were White and Geoffrion.

That Tampa line up is ugly. Then again we're not ones to talk.

But seriously, we can definitely win this game, which would not be ideal (again as much as it pains me to say it).

Is this the worst line-up ever iced? Gonna take a miracle to lose to these guys

Thompson, Purcell, Pyatt in the top 6. Wyman, Segal, Wallace, that's just sad. Commodore at LW.

And on D, wow. Mikkelson, Gervais, and Lee. Rough!

Aulie has no visa and Purcell, Thompson and Mikkelson have the flu so if they can't play it's something like this:

Malone - Stamkos - St. Louis
Wyman - Pyatt - Connolly
Angelidis - Hall - Segal
Labrie - Smith - Wallace

Brewer - Clark
Gervais - Lee
Commodore - Oberg

If ever a green call-up could take notice of how bad the opposing defense is to get some buzz going, it's here.

That's a terrible, terrible lineup Tampa is icing. Hopefully the Habs can play down to their level of competition.

Oilers
Tampa
