The team hasn't conducted a practice yet with the new players. The Sharks' return flight home met with some difficulty, too, apparently. Lines will be determined game day, most likely.

1991 -- October 31 --In the first meeting between the teams, Philadelphia handed the Sharks their 11th straight loss with a 5-2 home win. Ron Hextall, who returned to the lineup after serving a six-game suspension for slashing in a pre-season game, stopped 25 shots including 15-for-15 in the third period. Coach Paul Holmgren reunited the line of Mike Ricci (1-2-3), Rick Tocchet (2-0-2) and Pelle Eklund (0-1-1) which combined for six points. The Flyers' struggling powerplay was 3-for-51 but both of Tocchet's goals came with the man advantage. Tocchet picked up an extra minor in a fight with David Williams late in the game but Ricci's SHG finished the scoring. Tocchet had the first goal scored in this series while Link Gaetz had the first Sharks' goal against the Flyers. Jarmo Myllys made 26 saves for the Sharks. San Jose played its 14th NHL game and fell to 1-13-0.

wow 51 PP chances in one game. that has to be a record right

Couture might be out for this game. Let's hope we won't see him.

It was a reference to the season total, not one game. The Flyers' PP was 3-for-51 at that point of the season.

I actually like the late starts. The commute home doesn't come into play and I get dinner out of the way with plenty of time to spare!

Thank you TSN2! Go Flyers Go!

Hey Guys!

Super excited about this game as it'll be my first Flyers game!

Started following the team about 10 years ago but never lived in a city that had a hockey presence for me to attend a game... but I just moved a few months ago into San Jose and I'm going to the game tonight!

This has nothing really to do with the game itself or this GDT but I'm just excited :-)

Hope we can celebrate with a win because I'm not sure the next time I'll be able to see the team live!

Go Flyers!

unless it's back to back games, Bryz should be starting from here on out

I don't care if this game started at midnight, the fact it's on TV for me is enough to stay up for this one. I don't get to see near enough Flyers game.
