Kopitar leads the team in points (11 more than Williams), 53.1% in FO, 12th in points by centers; so stats wise I don't think he is doing too bad (I guess it depends on your expectations). Then again, watching games you wish he would be more of a presence and "lead the way" a bit more.
It is BAFFLING how little criticism Kopitar gets. Absolutely baffling.
maybe because he is for the last three or four years outscoring everybody on the Kings by ~20 points?
Maybe because he would have been the leading scorer, PK-er on some of the teams that are above the Kings in the standings? Like NSH, COL - the two teams the Kings lost recently and have 13 and 5 more points in the standings?
But yeah lets blame Brown, who has 6GWG and Kopitar who has 11 more points (52) than other players (Richards has 31points, Stoll 18 points) for the current Kings position.
Nashville is 11-0-2 in their last 12 at home. They've only had one regulation loss at home in 2012. Trust me, I'm not a "kool aid drinker" but the game was evenly played and pretty much could have gone either way. I'm disappointed yes, but I'm also realistic.

Where were you with this info BEFORE I bet my vbookie dollars on the Kings to win? What's gonna happen tonight?

I actually agree about this particular game. Nashville is a legit team, stellar at home too. And the Kings actually played well, just once again a lack of finish and skill kills this team.
Another problem is all those games the Kings lost this season when they gave up 1 goal and were shutout or gave up 2 goals and lost 2-1. To many to name.
And don't forget Losses at home to Edmonton, Montreal, Minnesota, Columbus, Calgary. Those are backbreaking.
To be clear, I agree with every one of these points. Nice post.
I didn't mean any offense (no pun intended), I just didn't think the Flyers CURRENT offense is the stat to choose in this case.
I wasn't trying to come across as too angry, because I saw from your original post we were in agreement pretty much. I went looking to see where the Flyers were in Goals, and there they were, at the top. It wasn't a cherry pick, it was a comparison based on the fact that, let's face it, we're pretty much Philly West.

I don't think anyone is overreacting to the fact that the Kings lost to a good team in Nashville. The game was very evenly played and with a good tempo. We're simply very concerned that time is running out on this team, and justifiably so.
