Oh wow I nearly choked and died laughing at the video, nicely done. With gritty Nick Schultz and defensive stalwart Zanon gone the Kings may even be able to score a goal tonight. 2-1 SO victory for the Wild though.
Looks like the Kings are going with Bernier in goal tonight (expected as Quick played last night in Nashville).
Last night the NBC guys were chirping at bit at Brad Richards for lack of production with the Rangers. Wonder what they'll say about Mike Richards tonight? Begs the question ... which Richards has been furthest from expectations this year? Lots of Kings fans are less than enthusiastic about Mike Richards this year.
A little bit off topic but watching the Rangers-Devils game last night was entertaining despite the lack of shots. One of the NBC analysts (can't remember if it was Milbury, Jones or someone else) said that Gaborik has completely embraced Tortorella's defense first system. Winning can do wonders for team chemistry.
I'm 50/50 on whether or not we win this game. If we win 2 out of the next three I just might believe we could make a run.
Also, does anyone have any info on Koivu? Offly quiet these days about him...
Honestly at this point I'm starting to lump him in with Lats and Butch. The Wild wants to keep his injury a secret? I'll just assume the worst.
From this point forward I'm just assuming that what weve got on the ice is what weve got for the rest of the year.
And honestly, if we can finally start dressing the same lineup game after game and let players finally get used to a little consistency, that might just give us a boost. This year has been nothing but shuffle shuffle shuffle.
