Took Anderson 45 games to get his first shut-out.

Took Lehner, 3.

Poor man's Antoine Vermette he is. I wouldn't mind having him on our 4th line. At least he can finish.

This is the face I am making right now while I savour Sportsnet talking about the mess in Toronto with their goaltending after we shut out the Bruins

We don't have to be afraid of the Bruins. Good game Lehner and team.

Its unacceptable that Karlsson only got a point tonight. If he doesn't 3 or more a game we should trade him.

Great game. It felt like the playoffs. That special type of hurt and horror.

Lehner played like a beast and showed how well he can handle pressure. We controlled the offence for much of the game (minus the third, but with a desperate Bruins squad and three PKs, what can you do?) and the defense played solid hockey.

That being said, Tim Thomas still scares me. The Bruins played as I expected though, they threw some hits, made a few potshots away from the play, but that only made it easier for Ottawa to take control offensively. Nobody shyed away though, which is great to see. If we bury our chances, I may live a healthier life.

This was a game I think we needed to win and we did. Great job, spectacular job.

So he'll get 2 shutouts per game? I can't wait. Impressive!!!!

It's quite beautiful. And with this win we've temporarily jumped to fifth.

Karlsson will get out of this slump, don't worry. He needs to practice.

Guys, it was an honor and privledge to say we witnessed our future star Robin Lehner's 1st NHL Shutout against the Defending Stanley Cup Champions.

He is playing like a man that has fire lit under a$$ and that is good. What a game, I hope this gives a lot of confidence to this team down the stretch, if we play like that every game we'll be unstoppable.

Even Konopka had more shots then Spezza. 2-1

Cowen only player not to get at least a shot on goal

Karlsson should AT LEAST be getting 2 GWG a game to be considered for the Norris.

Specially the way Thomas played tonight. Sens made him look good by not getting him moving like the other game side to side.

That Smith save was just clutch. We needed Alfie to out 'clutch' him there.

I guess the Leafs 40 + year rebuild is bigger news.

The team as a whole doesn't need to be afraid of them. the team with Auld or Anderson in net against them does, though.

Lehner is a beast
