Make that choice correctly, and even a soft draft year can yield an exceptional player, the kind of guy you can build around. The thing is, it's all about who you pick. Right now, the idea of getting to pick #2 and taking a big center with world beating potential is hard to resist. Even if he turns into Yashin, look what Ottawa got for moving him at the right time.

GO TANK! Neither Toronto nor Montreal has actually picked, developed and established a legit top-3 pick on their own team in decades. This is the year.
Nope.

I liked Geoffrion. He's bigger than I thought.

Pleks did not generate much and Gomez was hilariously bad.

Hehe, I hope White doesn't wink at the refs anymore after they call a penalty. I don't know if some of you noticed, they talked about it on l'anti chambre. Refs called a penalty on a TB player for interference on White. I think it was limit legit. But White winked at the ref, I laughed but it's true that he'll probably get branded as a player who tries to draw penalties by diving or some sort.

Do u expect l'Antichambre to actually be aware of such things?

But it's true, teams should just tell their players to keep their heads up when Emelin is on the ice and not try and goad him into a fight because he can't due to a metal plate in his head that could puncture his eye and leave him blind.

It's called coping, not like we have a choice give the way the team is playing and a once in a lifetime opportunity to draft at #2 overall. Should we rather be idiots and stress about the playoffs when we have zero chance of making them? I'm sorry but get off your high horse. And Grigorenko won't bolt to the KHL

"Laugh now but Leafs are coming to steal your draft position hard. Habs don't know anything about losing compared to the Leafs. Leafs players have stood and shouted: No more Mr. Mediocre Guy!" posted by Erdinger on the Leafs forum after I said that they'd finish 9th in the East. Needless to say I had a good laugh.

Unfortunetly for the Nords the concept of tanking did not exist back then. I was a fan of the Habs but just seeing the Nords in their misery it was painful to watch.

Again with the misinformation.
Langdeau clearly said that Emelin can't fight anymore cause he got destroyed in Russia.

Emelin had a decent game,

But I felt that Gorges had one of his worst games. Tonight he made several poor reads, and fumbled the puck like crazy. He did however have a nice play on Stamkos (it was mostly price though). The last few weeks he has looked "lost" on the ice.

That's not how the lottery works my friend.

The most spots you can move down is one.

We cannot match such tanking prowess but we still have an OK chance to win the lottery if we can outtank the Oilers

1A in 26 games for Palush-mcgoosh so far in his career. This guy is already entering Gomez territory. If we weren't vying for dead last I'd be uber pissed that he was still in the lineup at this point. He doesn't bring anything else to the table at all.

Agassi on AC? Plan B activated at RDS since Habs are out of playoffs now?

Yes i love the tanking since we are out, but man, you have to be worried. This team will be mostly the same. And are showing NOTHING. Hopefully a new coach and GM change things up, but I can't say next year looks bright.
