At this point so do I. I'm not a Wilson hater not by any stretch and there is nothing wrong with the system and things like that but for me there's 4 guys who have cost Wilson his job this year espescially with this meritocracy he talks about. Reimer, Kulemin, MacArthur and Lombardi seem to can't do no wrong and guys like Gustavsson, Franson, Kadri and Frattin can't do no right to gain his trust.

It really is time to have some different eyes behind the bench why Franson sits tonight and isn't used more makes no sense, why you call up Frattin who's been lighting up the AHL and don't use him on the PP when he has a shot just as good as Kessel's + is big and strong to get to pucks in front of the net just baffles me when I see this kid sit on the bench with the 2nd PP unit with Grabo, Connoly and MacArthur. Why when Kadri gets called up plays behind MacArthur is really baffling when Mac gets knocked off pucks just as easy and Kadri is twice the offensive player making plays to Lombardi instead of Grabovski just a head shaker of no trust from Wilson to players that are better than the ones he does trust. Any other coach with that penalty Mac took tonight would have been benched instead we see Frattin get a 10 second shift on the 1st line and barely plays in the 3rd.

I'm at odds with this love MacArthur gets and to think Burke could have traded him for a 1st round pick WTF.

Don't wait for another loss, DO it before the game & get the assistant coach to fill in for the time being.

Honestly I don't understand this.

Maybe the talent isn't there to be contenders, maybe its not even there to be a top 8 team in the East.

But there is ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSES as to why this team has come out absolutely flat 5+ games in a row.

A game like the Canucks game I understand, they out classed us... no reason to be outclassed by the Florida Panthers.

The talent is on the ice to be a competitive NHL team, yet they can't seem to be competitive on a nightly basis... explain that one.

It's up to the player to determine whether the current situation deems it appropriate is it not? The coach gives you scenarios where you should pinch, and it's up to the actual player to decide whether the current situation is safe for him to do so. When did a pinching dman with a covering forward become such an insane concept?

It seems that every season we have a rough patch. Are the Leafs now 1-9-1 in their past 11? In other seasons it was at the start of the season. Maybe we simply still haven't improved at all in the grand scheme of things.

Team is on pace for 85 points. Same as last year.

Maybe James Reimer can explain it to you.

probably the worst goaltending in the NHL

Terrible giveaways by d-men

Terrible defensive zone coverage by the whole team

Lack of secondary scoring

Lack of size

Money wasted on terrible players

Aside from that, we're a great team.

Alright, so perhaps Ron Wilson is giving them advice in practice when to pinch that is not applicable/safe in an actual game.

Your right, because the Leafs aren't actual humans, they're puppets. Which is why you blame the puppet master.

You really don't know though do you. All I know is that defenceman pinch on teams other than those coached by Ron Wilson, and have done so for decades.

Oh and lets not forget the defenceman in question, not exactly a Leaf favorite over the years for his brains.

Love the Fire Wilson chants. Would have been better with some Fire Burke chants thrown in.

Yes.. And a lot of fans are putting their faith in a handful of beans regarding prospects. Who knows if they happen or Burke has any draft picking ability. Years away in any case.

Other teams have playoffs. All the leafs have is prospect porn, and pie in the sky expectations.

It's become the northern Chicago Cubs. Lovable losers.

Okay I'll concede that point because I don't know what he's telling them. This looks like a coach that is unmotivated and one that has lost his group. Look at the incredible control Torts can exhibit over a group of players. R.W doesn't have that right now.

This team has been coming out flat for the start of games/periods ever since Wilson got here. It hasn't just started in the last 10 games. Been the trademark of the Wilson Leafs. It's really really biting them in the butt now though.

Was At The Game

Hey boys was at the game and this will probably be moved to the PGT but was hoping we could keep it up for a day or two first. I was wondering what you thought of the crowd and was wondering if you heard our "Fire Wilson" chant? I thought this was the best game I have ever been to in terms of fans, we came to cheer our team on but if they arent going to put in the effort they are going to hear about it.
