It's kind of amazing some people have said PG should stay or could stay...when it's likely going to be the worst Habs season since the 1930's.

This team is just so embarrassing. PG, Gomez, Molson, BG...this whole lot is just horrible. Get used to tanking for a few years everyone. This isn't being fixed anytime soon.

BG and PG a big FU you to both of yah!

Some of us are willing to suffer through multiple seasons of tanking.

Has anyone else watched Radulov's top 10 goals?
The kid is sick: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYJ5jksms-Q

If we can get Yakupov and Radulov's rights this summer while having Patrick Roy mediate to bring him over (even if it means giving Roy the head coach position ) -- We'll be on fire next year.

Ya heard it here first!

What I'll miss when the playoffs begin is the usual Bruins/Habs matchup. I've watched quite a few over the past 40+ years and it's some great memories win or lose. Habs will always be our biggest and most respected rivalry and maybe next season's playoff's, we see it all over again.
Missing Markov for a full season is like Bruins losing Chara for a full season. Lose your best defenceman and it throws everything outta whack.
Whatever happens, good luck in the draft. The reason you haven't has a top 5 in so long is because every year you had a good/great team. Pick wisely and make it your centerpiece.

Good luck and good health Hab fans!! And I sincerely hope Markov returns 100% healthy next season. God knows, he deserves it!!

In fact I hated that team so much it was never fun - until we had beaten them or they had, once again, choked like the perennial losers they were.

Long may they rest in peace. Dead. Buried. End of.

Bring back the Cleveland Barons before them.

With our luck Grigorenko will become Kostitsyn Part 2 and those picked 3-10 will become the "Getzlafs", "Richards" and "Carters" of the draft

Vs TB:
Gomez PP time: 4:01
Eller PP time: 2:26

Vs Florida:
Gomez PP time: 1:13
Eller PP time: 0:07

Thus far in 2011-12:
Gomez PP time: 2:25
Eller PP time: 0:23

Eller drives the net, he back checks hard... he is light-years ahead of Gomez. It really is mind boggling.

I am not a huge fan of Gauthier (I hate his D squad: inexperience everywhere!) but our Canadiens must be among the "leaders" in terms of man-games lost due to injuries. Healthy this is not a bad team.

Bring Grigo here and have Patrick Roy to be his coach. He will become a superstar.

Maybe RC is really out of it. But I feel this comes from someone above him in the org, trying to assess at last (whether or not justifiably) if Gomez has a place on this team or Hamilton next year.

How much does Molson have to swallow if Gomez becomes a Bulldog?

I want them back though. We haven't had a cup since they left. Having to be "Quebec's Team" is a burden, we need miss the provincial rival.

Fans talking about a once proud franchise not doing justice to the history of their team, and yet here was a once proud fanbase that is now actively rooting for said team to lose all the time. Figures, the type of new fans growing up with this team are those who typically dont like tough guys for skating vaginas, and they simply dont understand that losing on purpose or being happy of that fact is in itself worse than any other thing they could do. Habs legends would be shaking their heads at some of you.

But when you go to the Bell Centre that's all you hear these days anyway. New fans shouting out BS that makes no sense and shows their ignorance of the game. Lots of geno's in the audience now too.

It's not a burden at all. Even with the Nords around they were QC's team, and decades before the Nords ever appeared in the league they were winning several championships and doing just fine.

Hated it, yes fiercely addictive of course, couldn't stay away, but hated it, gut-churning at every shift.

Hate is the polar opposite of love, or of course a mirror-image.

Wow... I wasn't aware of that.

If the NHL weren't a bush league Malone would be suspended for fighting somebody who didn't drop the gloves. Doubt he'll get a fine.
