using his big frame to create space and his skating ability to find open lanes to drive the net. He stands 6-3 and is a natural goal scorer with plenty of confidence.
He's a scout's dream in the way he prepares himself and plays an unselfish game, making smart decisions with the puck. With his bloodlines, he certainly understands what it will take to make it at the next level.
Fans need to lighten up on Reimer before they destroy one of the top goalie prospects in the league. We eat our own
I haven't ripped on Reimer. In fact, I knew that he was likely to have a bad season, so his performance is not a surprise to me. Part of Reimer's problem this season is that Francois Allaire made him completely his goaltending style. If Reimer just goes back to the style his was using during the second half of last season, he'll be just fine.
As for "eating our own", I don't. I just go into each and every season with incredibly low expectations.
A poster on the first page suggested that the Leafs should tank the rest of the season, and I agree. They have nothing left and it's pretty clear that they're not listening to Wilson. They don't even show up for the games anymore.
Just play out the remainder of the season and go into the off-season with a high draft position tucked into your back pocket. Then, at the Draft, draft well. Aftrer that, do your best to rid yourself of bad contracts.
Except we want the coaching change, have everyone thought about the goalie coach change too?
I'm started having a feeling that it's the goalie coach's fault who force the teams' goalie to change the style of play. But it did not work well in the whole season.
Not here to troll, but I was pretty surprised by Reimer's interview. Optimism has its limits. I expected at least a little accountability after a performance like that.
Either way, I'm excited for the battle of Ontario in the years to come. Both teams seem to be on the rise, and both fan bases have lots to look forward to.

What really annoyed me was the idiot celebrating by Phaneuf when the team was down 4-2 without a shot in hell of getting back because it was a lucky goal. They score a lucky own-goal (off a Panther dman) and they do the high-fives skating past the bench? Seriously? You losers had lost 8/9 and playing like complete crap all night tonight and you wanna be all smiles on a chincy goal to scrape back to a 2 goal deficit? Bunch of idiots
