My autopsy...

http://www.stateofhockeynews.com/201...rgerkings.html

The Wild played like a team in mourning tonight. Uninterested, disheveled and disorganized. I am glad I didn't spent a hundred dollars or more to be there. Those people deserve a refund. Anyone else find it convenient for the team to release Koivu's injury information AFTER the deadline? Not that he was being shopped but it certainly should've told anyone who was still in denial that this season was toast. I have a full game recap / autopsy, plus a Houston Aeros report and prospect updates on Brett Bulmer and Mario Lucia. Enjoy!

I read through the entire GDT after missing the game. Here are the two things I took away.

1. This team stinks! Fail for Nail, or the next best possible player.

2. I agree with Avder FM and in my case GF need to have Sonic restaurants.

Other than the fact they are drive-ins, Sonic is up on the list of fast-food.

I also want a damned White Castle and Chic-Fil-A. And a Hardees thats actually in Moorhead would be nice. I dislike driving all the way into and across Fargo whenever I feel like that particular burger place.

Fargo sucks.

So, two of Galchenyuk, Trouba, and Rielly will slip out of the top 5. If you think Forsberg and Ceci are difference makers, you can get them at least up until 9.
Dont forget about Reinhart.

You guys should get a good player in the draft.

There's always Faksa, and/or possibly Gaunce too.

Games like tonight are reminders why they only hand out free pucks AFTER the game.

Yeah well, to be fair, this game ****ing sucked.

And I mean REALLY ****ing sucked.

Like, aside from the recent acquisitions, no one else showed up until Scandella got in a fight...which I missed when the good stream went dead btw.

Oh please!! We've lost track of how many games they've sucked this year. Has nothing to do with the trade deadline.

Yup, Schultz, Zanon, and Zidlicky were all going to score tonight. That way we would have only lost 4-3!

Yep. And grabbing all those offensive defensemen got us to score 4 goals!

Eh. There's always next year.

And who do you mean by "you guys" anyway?

This was one game. Gilbert was only what, -1? On our blueline that's almost GOOD. I'm not gonna judge him based on one damned game when hes barely had time for one practice, thats completely unfair.

And the other guys...people who have been around since before the Zids trade... yeah I get where they are coming from, Schultz is gone, the locker room got gutted. I understand that. But at the same time I want them to step up and actually show a pulse too.

I am way more upset at all those guys than I am at any of the new additions. In fact Palmieri was about the only guy I noticed tonight actually playing offense.

Oh and the PP looked decent one of those times it was out. Thats a positive I guess.

If Zanon, Zid, and Schultz were in the lineup, the Kings would never have scored 44 seconds in! That first goal would have been delayed by a good minute and a half. Could have changed the game!!

Now, who's leg do we have to break to get Hackett up here?

Oilers fan coming in peace, how did Gilbert look tonight? Some on the oiler board are saying not good but that could be due to being stunned you have been traded, traveling to a new city and wearing a new jersey all in 24 hrs

The trade seems to have been pretty much a wash. Way too early to know at this point though.

He didn't look good.
Neither did anyone else on the Wild.
Not going to hold it against him.

What are the Oilers folks' thoughts on Schultzy?
