Well this loss has left me feeling defeated. I was actually very excited about this year and the first half of the season looked promising. I'm left wondering what the hell happened.

I've defended Burke, I've defended Wilson and I've defended the players. I can't believe this team falls apart when the games matter most.

I don't really care what happens now. The players sure don't so why should I.

So my apologies to everyone I've offended over the course of this year. You were right and I was wrong. Congrats

Who were the other two if this is true? Schenn?
It was 12 1st's....3 for each.

Chuck in a few Fire Burke chants too just to make him think he isn't going to be in the clear when he finally gasses his buddy. I'd strip the C off of Phaneuf too just as a symbolic act to show this heartless team up..

I expected to lose this game, we don't play well against Florida and our play of late is embarassing. Even still, this loss has got to be the one that costs Wilson his job (in the offseason, I still want a high pick).

At this point I don't know who to blame. Is it Wilson? Burke? The players? Definitely all three IMO.

Habs' fan come in peace. It's really amazing that you guy can be worse than us the last 10 games. We suck so badly right now. Your Marlies can probably beat us.

I expected a loss too, but not in that heartless manner. I keep harping on it, but it really bothered me seeing Phaneuf celebrate like a goof after that terrible own-goal he "scored" when it was 4-2. Why are you doing the high-five drive-by when you're captaining a sinking ship? To me, that's not what a captain does in times like this. He tells his teammates on the ice to shut it up and buckle down, get two more to tie it up. Not encourage them to celebrate like a bunch of goofs as though they're playing passionate hockey

No worries. I'm just glad that you've begun to see how bad this team really is.

Burke and Wilson do not deserve to be defended by any member of the Leafs' fan-base, and, quite frankly, both of them should be fired immediately after the regular season ends, especially if the Leafs end up in lottery territory (which, at this point, is looking very possible). Wilson has pretty much already ruined Schenn (and quite possibly Kadri); it's really only a matter of time before he ruins Gardiner as well. Wilson needs to go before any permanent damage is done is done (if the damage done isn't already permanent).

Allaire might as well be fired too, given how he's ruining both Reimer and Gustavsson.

I don't are what he supposedly did for Roy, or whoever else, it's indefensible what he's done to the goaltending on this team. Both goalies let in the same weak ass goals constantly and both play the loser chicken wing style and give up high goals too easily

Players stink up the ice and Canoe shows a picture of Brian Burke.

Guess that shows how intelligent they think the fan base is.

Anyone see Doug McLean blow up? Man, he was fired up. Sometimes I don't agree with him, but he totally RIPPED on Wilson.

Toronto's best team, the Rock, play with heart and talent to a half-empty ACC.

The Leafs play to a full ACC night in, night out.

Man I'm glad I was working nights last night. I didn't even bother to check the score when In got home at 6am. It's usually the first thing I do after working nights during a Leaf game.

Shows you just how little I care about this team at the moment. I've tuned out the Leafs. I come here to see what topics are being discussed, but rarely join in. I don't even bother checking the sports channels for the highlights. Sad, so sad.

I've lost all faith in Wilson as the coach, and Allaire as the goalie coach. And I've been a Wilson supporter for a while now, spouting all the excuses. New team, young team, players are still playing for him, blah blah. Now, I could care less if he's really the problem or not. At this point, fire him. If he is the problem, then problem solved. If there's something else going on, then maybe the new coach can see it and fix it.

On Allaire, fire his ass too. I'm no expert on goalies or coaching. But it doesn't take a genius to see if your young goalies are playing worse than ever, then they are being taught improperly. Last season when Reimer came in, he faced a lot of shots and many of them quality shots. Tons of odd man rushes. This team hasn't change a whole lot, yet this season we're saying Reimer is being hung out to dry. He was last season too, but he made those saves anyhow. Just go back and read some of those Post-Game threads....

Anyhow, rant over. I'm not gonna completely tune out, but until they win some games, I wont be watching them. It's better for me, my wife and this place.

It's just an act. You can clearly see his frustration and lack of confidence on the ice.

Mission impossible, to my dismay.

Losing 2-1 with a 7-minute PP?
