Oh, and Carle is bad.

You might want to take a lie-down after those intense mathematical exercises.

Stayed up late for nothing. Only good thing was Bryz's play, hopefully this continues as the race for the playoffs gets closer to an end.

They only spent 1.29% of the game on the ice together. It was probably just due to a line change

It was Mez-Timo on the goal, but Timonen was paired with Kubina for the game

By your standards, Bryz outplayed Pvelec, and it clearly did not happened.

Well, according to twitter, the Flyers blamed bad defensive play for the 1-0 loss. I didnt watch the game, but when you score 0 goals, I do find it kind of hard to blame the defense.

It was a bad defensive play though. (Although it was mostly due to a great pick by Thornton on Mez)

Combination of Special Theory of Relativity with Quantum Mechanics Almighty, the Flyers really need to improve their puck decisions, particularly when they hit the opponent's zone and 1 forward tries to dangle through 3-4 opponents. This had all the feel of a playoff game, particularly with the refs turning a blind eye to, well, everything past the first period.

After having slept on the game, though, a little nugget of positivity was that, in recent games, Bryzgalov's play has improved as the game went on, as opposed to earlier efforts where he seemed to deflate with a bad goal.

And, yes, for the love of Cthulhu, let's see more of Kubina on the PP point.

I was just poking a bit of fun at you over the stats for a 1-0 game. I gave up using emoticons for Lent.

JVR? Yes. Briere's been terrible and it looks like Jagr is slowing down.

Despite the loss, Bryz played very well last night. Too much diving and not enough skating.

How many times last night did we just simply miss the net? It was like everyone was Jeff Carter come playoff time against the sharks.

Are Rinaldo and Vlasic under scrutiny from Shanahan?

From Twitter...

David Pollak ‏ @PollakOnSharks
Asked NHL source if league looking at Vlasic or Rinaldo hits from last night #Sjshark-PHL game: "Already looked. Nothing up," was response.

Thats fine with me. Vlasic one should have been a penalty, but not suspendable. Rinaldo hit was primarily to the shoulder from what I saw. No problem there.

Kimmo made a comment within the last couple of weeks that sounded just like last year when they were saying players were not only not on the same page but not even the same chapter. Seems like he's made a few pissed off comments of late so who knows. I wonder if he's going to play next season, he sounds really frustrated.
