The Team1200 reported that Corvo asked Turris to fight and Turris declined...

Not a good game for the Sens to try and fight. First of all, it's a road game. Fights usually just get the crowd going, for the Sens, why would they try and get the other team's crowd into it? Secondly, it was a very tight game. If the score started to get out of hand, maybe we would have seen something. But with the tight score, nobody is going to risk swinging the momentum the wrong way. Even Chris Neil declined Shawn Thornton's request to dance. No point in fighting at that time.

As SensChirp pointed out on twitter...interesting that when Lucic was running around, Alfie approached him and Lucic didn't even look at him...

I miss the days when they didn't ask they just dropped & went after each other. I'm sure Corvo went phew after Turris said no & was happy to skate away ... okay ... thanks ... see you later ... dinner?

The Sens played one of the best team games I've seen them play in a while, excellent road game. Even the guys that are role players played their roles to a tee & kept their emotions in check. Konopka won 79% of his faceoffs last night, didn't fight but was there if he was needed. Great game.

I didn't think it was possible for Corvo to look dumber than he already looks, but last night took the cake.

Its a good thing for sens fans that lucic didnt fight alfie. That would of been a blood bath. And turris ran away from corvo the whole game. A big bunch of babies. Neil accepted a fight with thornton and then danced away trying to draw a penalty. Same as the canucks do and the habs.

Why do people not understand that you shouldn't fight when your team has a lead?

Sens were up 1-0 in a tight-checking game against the defending Stanley Cup Champs, who have happened to dominate us for the last 20 games or so. Why give the Bruins any momentum?

It's not dancing away, it's being smart.

Those darn bruins goggles again. They block out half the game. Sad really

STOP EVERYTHING! We must contact Shanny and tell him that Cally617 thinks that Turris should have been suspended. Cally617 is an expert, and his opinions should be taken as gospel because he clearly has a superior knowledge of all things hockey related.

What about Corvo challenging Turris to a fight and Corvo himself doing nothing?

thats interesting that someone mentioned Corvo actually asked him. They were out for like literally 10 shifts together in the first period and Corvo would purposely look away when Turris was by him. It was actually quite comical. I remember Turris was standing in front of the net and Corvo didn't touch him, cross check him, or anything really.

So because Turris fights Briere after Briere hits him, Turris should fight Corvo after he hit Corvo.

That's idiotic.

Shouldn't Corvo be looking to fight Turris and not the other way around? Why does he need to ask Turris for his permission? Can he stand up on his own? Oh wait, he clearly can't since he made those idiotic statements and then retreated before the game. Turris has no reason to fight a plug like Corvo, he has nothing to prove to him.

And you're calling Turris the *****? Hah!

In fairness, I noticed one situation that was fairly similar to 'the hit' develop, and Turris curled away rather than finish his check... I guess they're just not 'boys' anymore... Corvo probably denied his facebook friend request and left it at that.
