Say we finish with the 25th pick in the draft..
Would you rather stay where you are and draft the best player available or trade some assets away to move up and draft a defenseman like Murray or Reinhardt?
I don't think the Flyers want to move roster players for prospects. I think they will be happy with where they are picking. Maybe make a move up, but by using other draft pick rather than players on our roster. I would love to have either one of those d-man, just don't think it will happen.

I also read the reports about d-men that are gonna be at the end of the first round of the draft, some of them project to be just 3/4 or even 5/6 dman but with character and leadership abilities. I hope we find the steal of the draft, usually the scouting reports from websites aren't incredibly accurate.

Malkin pisses me off so much.. Loves to punch people in the face with gloves on all the time then backs off when they challenge him

Read a lot of reports like that too.. Hence the moving up to get a defenseman.. If we get another foward, there's just more of a logjam

Flyers develop forwards to trade to Nashville for their developed dmen. I'm almost positive they have a pact among themselves about such deals.

The more forwards we develop, the more we can use as assets to acquire defense. I don't mind them doing that since we can't develop d for ****

The **** he gets away with is truly astounding. I remember in the playoffs in 09 when he took Hartnell down behind the play and punched him in the head three times. No call. Slewfoots are his go to move, too. Guy is a dirty player.

At least he's earning his cap hit this season though. He definitely wasn't last year.

We are Nashville's forward farm. They are our defensive farm.

I like it.

I heard Blum has struggled this year. He is a Rfa after this year and maybe Nashville doesn't have him in their plans anymore. Unlikely but maybe it could happen. Ellis is just small, I hate his size. I love the way he plays and has a great shot, but his size as a dman always concerns me.

I think it was Shawn (Pyuukurocket100) who told me whatever we do we should stay away from ellis..

So i guess Blum is more feasible

Im enjoying watching the Toronto Leafs losing right now. They are completely falling apart and I love every minute of it. It's a toss up right now about the two games, I love watching Backes and Oshie, but the game is bound to be boring and probably not high scoring. Anaheim I just want to watch Bobby Ryan and Hiller play, and Leino suck it up more. Third option is to read my book.

Forgot to mention Krishna, if there is a dman I want from Nashville its Mattias Ekholm. I believe he was rookie of there year in the Elitserien last year. Is big and can skate, I feel like he has great potential and a steal for being a 4th rounder. If any of our swedish posters have more detailed reports on him from watching him live I would love to here them

My plan of watching Buffalo lose is failing. At least I have Roy in fantasy. He's been a disappointment.

Pens won SO. Some nice golas in that..

Leafs are about to lose and I will enjoy that. Empty net, 30sec to go.

Selanne has played in the NHL longer than Couturier has been alive.

Roenick is too much like Kevin Weekes at the moment. But slowly, he is becoming another Milbury which IMO is a very good thing.

Milbury is a joy to watch

I've gone out on the limb for about 3-4 years now and have said that he's the dirtiest player in the league, and people think I'm out of my mind because he doesn't get called for any of it. They see guys like Rinaldo, Downie, and Cooke because they've got their penalties and suspensions to back it up. Malkin is more than deserving for a few Shanabans...

I would love it if somebody one day was just like "**** it" when Malkin was pulling this crap and just sock him right in the face. Start a world war in Pittsburgh. Preferably Rinaldo or Sestito.

The Civil War of Pennsylvania, started by a bunch of hockey fans. I think the East has to be favored

Posted about Malkin on the main boards... Then realized the main boards are a circle jerk and posted it to ******..

every single pens fan's response 'you block out what happened before'

Apparently now throwing cheapshots at players is allowed if they make clean hits on you or somebody on your team
