Easier said than done.

Good start, awful defense, couldn't score on Emery.

Terrible game for Gardiner.
Alaire shud defiantly be on this list.

Yeah I'm not even upset anymore. It's commonplace for us to lose leads now.

Did the Ducks pass us in the standings? good to hear, we should get as close as we an to the lottery pick position as possible. A potential of one of Yakupov, Grigerenko, Galchenyuk, Murray, or Dumba could make a pretty big difference with this team that lacks high-end talent aside from Kessel and Gardiner.

Thing is, he does it constantly and shows no signs of making any kind of change there. Not even with 30 seconds left and your net empty

Leafs have their 2nd. round pick and can't deal it at the trade deadline.

I wonder how many times we've allowed 5 goals in that stretch.
5 times... also 4 goals 3 times. So 4+ goals in 8 of last 11.

On a positive note, I thought Schenn played well. Stayed in position, played very physical, stood up for Gus, had a fight when team needed some momentum. His partner might have played his worst game of the season though.

Done in by Theodore & Emery on back to back nights.

That pretty much says it all.

Absolutely no reason to fire wilson right now if the plan is to pull Eakins up from the Marlies...
Marlies don't deserve to lose their coach...

Best thing to do is stick it out until the off season and then let Carlyle, Crawford, Eakins, and whoever else interview...

If management can't stomach firing Wilson so shortly after Wilson was extended, wait...

Funny, if Wilson had not been extended, many articles would have been written about the Leafs quitting on their lame-duck coach...

Turns out that extra year may end up being just a parting bonus...
