Zanon sure. I think Zanon is the most likely of those to be gone. Harding maybe. It depends on if someone looking for a backup is willing to take a swing at his up and down play and sketchy injury history.

Schultz is a stretch. I just dont see him moving.

Cullen no way in hell. He has a NTC for a reason.

If Cullen were available ( I doubt he is) it would be for a good package, he's a great veteran presence and so on.

Schultz's contracts a little steep.

Hards could be gone, depends on the team.

And I think it's highley likely that Zanon gets moved.

So what do we have now?

Heatley-Brodziak-Setoguichi
Clutterbuck-Cullen-Palmieri
Powe-Christiansen-Johnson
Veilleux-Peters-Ortmeyer

Scandella-Gilbert
Spurgeon-Prosser
Falk-Foster

I honestly have no idea what the D-pairs are going to be. Just a rough guess. But yeah that's a pretty big change from a month ago.

A month ago? Thats a big change from when we played FLORIDA. Especially the Blueline. We shipped off 50% of the Blueliners we iced against Florida. Just amazing. Utterly amazing.

I cant wait until tomorrow when we get to see what this new look squad can do.

Well, that was intense.

Coming off a 4-0 loss to the L.A. Kings, the Wild bussed over to St. Thomas Academy and coach Mike Yeo put them through a very intense, very brisk hour-long practice.

The theme of the day: winning battles and doing a better job in defensive zone coverage. "That's what we wanted," Yeo said. "We're all about coming to the rink and getting better. If that's something tactically, or if it's battle level or work ethic-wise, that's what we'll do."
After a difficult loss, a high-intensity practice

Anyone know what tomorrows lines are going to be for the Wild and Habs? Working on that part of the GDT right now and once I get all the faces, I need to know in what order to put em.

Well, you know the Habs a lot better than I do, so if you get a whiff of their lineup tomorrow, let me know. I've got plenty of time left before this GDT has to be ready and I've got everything but lineups and stats done, and those are the easy parts.

this answer makes no sense...the Habs are soft therefor dress a huge guy who--not to put a fine point on it--is only in the lineup for protection against physical aggression. Or were you hoping he'd skate around like Staubitz attempting to get people to fight him and take penalties for it?

Now, the reason to dress him might be because Staubitz will probably be playing with a chip on his shoulder and might take a run or two.

I'm expecting Staubitz to get the Gordie Howe Hat Trick. The assist will come on a goal by linemate Scott Gomez.

I just think the team plays a more physical game with him there. They don't need it against the Habs, but at least he would make the game entertaining.

So, looking at this for tomorrow:

Heater - Brodz - Seto
Palmieri - Cullen - Clutterbuck
Johnson - Christensen - Powe
Veilleux - Peters - Kassian

Scandella - Spurgeon
Prosser - Gilbert
Foster - Falk

Backs
Harding

Sound plausible? The whole Blueline is just an omelet except for Scandella-Spurgeon right now and I dont know what the 4th line might be like tomorrow.

Now I just need Montreal's lineup.

About the Habs line up, Darche won't play. Replace him by Nokelainen.

As for the Wild line up, just add Kassian for the lulz.

-Darche (reminds me of a certain south park episode), +Nokelainen, got it.

And if you want Kassian for the lulz I'm just gonna greenlight what I posted a few posts ago for our lineup.

This thread is ready to expire! Hooray!

Wait, Petteri Nokelainen will play tomorrow? I didn't even remember he was in the Habs system.

Also, I'm hoping for best but expecting the worst for tomorrow's game. Somehow I think Staubitz' world-class playmaking and Gomez' excellent shot will decide the game.
