Schulltz very good skater , great with his stick lots of simple plays that were effective ,so far so good , he looks like a defenceman upgrade imo.

Dubnyk and Barker suck.

I'll give the Blues some credit. They're not nearly as boring as the Coyotes -- at least they try to push the tempo when the opportunity presents itself.

I liked Schultz a lot, he made solid plays all over the ice and is very good with the stick. Petry continues to excel and Hall is just a straight up beast, so good.
RNH also seems to be in fine form but i still can't get past the Barker and Dubnyk debacles. Just horrible.

yup. Dubnyk's poor play and Barker did everything they coudl to bungle this game...if barker had been sat and dubnyk showed up to play this game very well could have gone the other way.

Eberle, Hall and Nuge had a SICK shift together because Ebs stayed out long. Renney rewards them by having Ebs disappear on a line with Belanger.

Any one still think that having a 3rd coach in 3 years would ruin Gagner. Doesn't seem to effect the Blues. They are now 34-10-7 under Hitch.

Utterly incompetent coaching.

Unfortuneatly I called 5-2 Blues. They deserved the win. Well coached, and no floaters on that team.
Wouldn't want to meet them in the playoffs.

It's too early to judge Schultz. Let's wait for a few games at least before it gets clear what we've got.

Hemsky running into Hall causing the breakaway didn't help matters but at least Hemmer was ok otherwise, can't say the same the other two.

Couldn't agree more. They've both been given the opportunity to succeed and they simply haven't. I'd like to see a Khabi/Danis tandem to close out the year

Why can't we please just try Danis in net for a few games and see how it goes? Dubnyk is a backup, we can pretty much tell that watching his body of work this year.

I gotta listen to the post game show to hear if stauffer does his standard political correct criticism: Player X (in this case Barker) has got to be better." That's as vicious as Bob gets anymore.

Unless you're a great special teams team. Then you have the advantage.

Blues are a really good team but Oilers didn't do themselves any favors tonight.
Why didn't Sutton play? Surely playing a big physical team like the blues is an ideal game for Sutton. Sutton has proved himself to be a seviceable bottom pairing dman whereas Potter is a #7 and Barker is not an nhl player.

Well it is hard for him to admit he is wrong. He constantly talks about how smart he is yet this guy said that BARKER was better than PETRY. Stauffer is an arrogant piece of crap I can't stand him.

Every time Barker steps on the ice, a boneheaded play is to be expected. The guy is the Patrick O'Sullivan of defencemen. The fact that Renney kept throwing him out there shift after shift proves that he should not be coaching this team.

I've never been sold on Gagner as our #2 center and his recent play has reinforced it. He just can't create for the other guys on his line consistently enough.

Horcoff had a pretty decent game. He was a beast on the PK. I really don't like it when people try to find excuses to bash Horcoff.

I have to think it's Renney's way of telling Tambellini to not resign barker...or it really is an attempt to stay in the bottom 3.
