Le Gros Bill Jean Beliveau

Many a game I have seen Beliveau play over the years... A true class act and ambassador for the game.

Liam Maguire has some memories too...

We can hope for the best, that it's not debilitating

I remember Jean in his last year or so when I first started watching hockey. He was still one of the best players even then.

Looks like he's in stable condition!

Jean Beliveau is in stable condition and resting comfortably after suffering a stroke Monday evening.

Former player Dickie Moore said that Beliveau is still receiving treatment as of Wednesday, but that he is conscious and receiving visitors.

Glad to hear he's stable.

Lots of Bruins fans pulling for him.

Awards:
I was truly relieved when the news came out that he was stable.

I'll always remember what my grandmother (who passed away this past Christmas day) told me about Mr. Béliveau. She had the honor of meeting him in person and said that he was the classiest, nicest person she had ever met and that he was a true gentleman in every way possible.
