Alright time to watch some Vancouver and St Louis plus some Buff at San Jose.

Claude Giroux is also 1 point away from tying his career high and 2 from breaking it for points in a season.

Wow Minny was down 4-1 with like 5 mns to go in the game and came back to tie it. Got away with a hook too when Max Pac was going for an empty net, but Pac dove too. Might have been why they didn't call the penalty.

Just so you guys know, it's my fault that certain players have had misfortune this season. I'm reigning champ in a long standing roto fanta$y league. The only Flyer I was able to draft this year was Pronger. We all know what happened to him.

With Pronger out I wanted to add some Orange & Black to the roster again...I countered a proposed trade with an offer I knew was lopsided in the other guy's favor...a homer deal to get some Flyers...I figured the guy I was trading with wasn't a threat and I had a big enough lead (I've had a big lead for months) to take the hit.

So, on Dec. 31st, I traded Kovalchuk, Selanne and Harding for Jagr, JVR and Biron.

Jagr went down to injury the next f*king day day then JVR went out with PCS within the following two weeks...came back, now has a broken foot. W.T.F.!!! Of course, Kovalchuk, who had been inconsistent, turned into an absolute beast soon after I trade him. Horrible trade and an uncanny coincidence.

Adding to the madness, in an effort to beef up my PIMs, I picked up Sestito on Feb 4th. While he did provide the PIMs, Sestito was out with injury within two weeks. W...T...F!

Another little tidbit, I traded Hedberg for Simon Gagne in November...his seaeson was over within two months. WTF

NO other players from my team had any kind of extended injury. Like the Flyers (incl Gagne) on my team

I was recently offered Timonen for a pretty good price...I could use him, but I didn't take the deal...he's too valuable to the Flyers!

Meh, the puck took a crazy bounce over his stick and just froze in place. He broke way too hard, as I'm sure it surprised him and went down. I don't really think he "blew it". Just bad luck.

I've now been sucked into the anti-Malkin thread on the main board. THANKS KRISHNA! And as advertised, I state my position, and people respond to me like I have 3 heads.

Wow, note to self: Nothing makes Pens fans rage-crap all over themselves like implying that Malkin isn't a blameless saint. That thread is insanity.

The problem with Malkin's slewfooting is he isn't blatant about it, so there are very few penalties. He's good at making it discreet. It often looks like a normal trip, or the player falling from contact. I was watching a Pens-Rangers game this season where he tried to slewfoot a Ranger behind the net...Ranger fell funny, landed across Malkin's knee and put Malkin in some pain. I've been trying to find video of it but it just isn't there.

You have game center live. Go back to the game in the archive and find the play you are talking about. After that I have no clue how to help ya

Okay okay okay people. We really really REALLY need to stop comparing Matt Carle to Ryan Suter. It has gotten beyond ridiculous. This is a reason I don't read BSH. Lets just rely on stats, nothing more for my argument that Carle is actually almost as good as Suter.

I would love for people to ask GM's, head scouts, and other knowledgeable hockey people if they think Suter and Carle are in the same boat. I am 99.99% sure all of them would just look at you like your from another World. I have watched Nashville probably 40 games this year. I have watched almost all the Flyers games. Suter >>>>>> Carle. (not saying im an expert, but come on, you can see it just by watching them)

http://www.broadstreethockey.com/201...ee-agency-2012

^Article i'm referring too.

Also in the comments section, the writer of the article said that Carle is exactly what Detroit is looking for, he is in the mold of Rafalski/Lidstrom. Did he put Matt Carle in the same sentence as Lidstrom???

Oh it is! D. Leed also wrote about the same thing. It's like they don't even bother to watch the game, let's just look at their stats. Also I have never heard Corsi used among GM's or scouts, that should tell everyone there is a flaw with it. GM's don't use it for a reason, and it's not because they are stubborn. They have other and better ways to track the players performances.

This article was designed by the Flyers. We create a diversion with Carle to grab Suter.

Geoff is known to like players that the majority of fans dont think are THAT good. Happened with Boucher, Nodl, Marshall, Bartulis, etc etc. But like he said in his first paragraph, he likes to go against what everyone else thinks. And by proving his points, he will skew stats to favor him.

Like for example, he used 2010-2011 to show how Matt Carle was good. Last time I checked, we are in the 11-12 season. Geoff though says that we can judge Matt cause he played with Bourdon for a few games.
