I know it won't happen but it's almost tempting to play Enroth Saturday so we have Miller ready for Winnipeg. Even the way he's playing, just incredible, we can't beat Vanouver with this pop gun offense.
....get tough...go big or go home, no one slows up come playoff time. Benching miller off back to back shutouts is beyond dumb no offense i see what your saying but still...ride it til the effing wheels fall off, we gotta go all out

No no, he's right. You should start Enroth.
Maybe rest Vanek and Pominville too. YOU CAN'T BE TOO CAREFUL.
Is it being too much of a homer to say that Hodgson has been our best forward, or even player (obviously excluding Miller) in his two games on the team? Absolutely loving his play so far, I'm not suggesting splitting up EHS any time soon because they've been fantastic, but I'd love to see what his passing could do with an elite finisher like Vanek.
B:
- Thought VRP was pretty off and GLK was pretty bad. Wouldn't mind seeing some mixing up of these two lines.
- San Jose almost matching our entire shot total with their 3rd period shots alone; two straight games of allowing a ton of third period shots.
- Kevin. Sylvester.
U:
- Brent Burns. Even as awesome as his Superman dive was. He's an ugly dude.

so we bend over and let the nucks have a win and drop back in the standings? this isnt november we have ZERO leeway to give games away, we need to win every game here on out(thats not realistic but it needs to be out mentality). You people can jump back on the Ruff train and ride us into the ground meanwhile...the 6 goal sabres vs the bruins...???yeah im gonna roll over to soft a$$ Van?? With CE and CoHo coming home? no way, lets go blue and gold

I was extremely encouraged by Hodgson tonight - again. You can tell his hockey IQ is sky-high, and he patrols the ice like a good centerman should. One of those natural leaders, it seems.
I'll take the win because I like winning games... but we had no business winning and we have no shot at playoffs. It's a shame that it seemingly came together too little too late.
Miller was great but it wasn't because of his wife....she waxs at that detroit game too....just saying.....but seriously that guy is playing out of his MIND lately.....only 7 goals allowed in his past 6 games....apparently he's back up to his career average now for the season....
Good: miller. I missed this miller at the beginning of the season.
Sharks transition and speed.
EHS line. Dangerous! Anyone else notice CoHo played the last minute?
Bad: Ruffs bottom 6 line combos.
Leino...ugh
VRP line. Anyone wanna bet ruff switches CoHo and Roy? You can smell this thought cooking in the German steam pot which is ruffs melon.
Ugly: getting out shot in a big way.....again
Kaleta: love this guy but when he is not agitating, he becomes useless
Only caught the last 30 minutes but Jesus Christ did Miller play out of his mind the last two nights. Sure we caught a few breaks but ****ing A, he keeps playing like this and we might manage to squeeze in there...
Provided Miller keeps playing well, he's got a good shot at getting his numbers up to .920+ and around 2.40.
Expecting him to maintain this level of play is unreasonable but even his numbers, as they stand right now, are pretty incredible considering where they were in early January.
Bad:
-Visiting Kassian and the Canucks on Saturday. I've got a bad feeling Kassian will dominate.

I think they should call McNabb and Foligno up for the game so they can spend time kvetching at center ice rather than worrying about who's running who.

I think we've treated Kassian pretty well. Good for him, if he's got it in him to take over a game now because he left Buffalo.
On the other hand, I have a feeling Hodgson will have something to prove against Vancouver. I'd love to see him get one over on the Canucks and lead us to victory. He has a reputation, according to Canuck fans, for stepping up in big games. I can see him considering this a pretty big game.
