Not scared of them at all. Remember they were very well rested(we weren't). The Rangers play them in the playoffs(they won't), they would crush their D.

These guys might be benched or released on bad teams.

The fact that they got a point is a miracle.

No way this team wins a Cup with Anton Stralman. Guy is a wimp.
We're leading the East by 10 points and just picked up 3 out of 4 points in back to back road games. Try not to gut half the roster please.

We also didn't have two of our top players. If pegging this loss on someone makes you feel better, put the blame on Girardi. He kicked the puck right to MSL who assisted Purcell for the second Lightning goal, then missed a golden opportunity to put a tap-in in the net during OT.

isn't shooting the puck a prerequisite to finishing?

for someone with the "sniper" tag he sure seems reluctant to shoot the puck, has all season long.

-Cally and -MDZ it's not the same team, especially against the likes of Stamkos and MSL.

Since when is Richards the "sniper"? The guy was brought in to rack up assists, not net 50.

IMO, Stralman has played very well in his time here. He has his moments of bad defense or "soft" play, but for the most part, he works hard, adds some skill to the backline, and has been very solid defensively. He's certainly no Lidstrom, but he's a good 2nd pairing defenseman and will be an asset as a third pairing defenseman in the playoffs. He's no bruiser, but he'll hit. One of the few players in this league that can execute hip checks with a relative regularity.

Awesome to see Dubi score and that Artie's confidence keeps building.

Defense, again, needs to tighten up.

It's amazing what Callahan adds to this team. Heal up.

The only problem I see with his game, is he sometimes gets caught on the outside on the rush. Other than that, he is fine.

ahah way to take the initiative! atta boy, welcome aboard

he's hands down the worst player on the roster but he forever gets a pass. he could go to the other teams bench and throw the entire rack of sticks on the ice and not miss a shift, the torts hypocrisy continues.

lolol

Would like to see that, actually.

Hopefully he shows in the playoffs he was worth keeping around.

Thanks for the welcomes

dubinsky's goal was nothing short of a miracle though. he just made it look so easy.... lets hope for some more of that in the last 20 games. Tonight's line-up was sadly depleted, and not a performance that should be expected from this team in the future.

just glad we got a point.

I think people are being a tad harsh on Feds. He had a terrible play tonight, but for the most part he has been serviceable. The D corps tonight was the major culprit

Agreed 100%. I was very skeptical of this guy for quite some time, but he has proven more than capable of playing his role and doing so well.

Lundqvist: "This game was tough from start to finish. We had a 2-0 lead but I don't think we deserved a 2-0 lead."

Brad Richards: "It wasn't pretty. We got away with (a point)."

I liked Feds last season and thought he was one of our better players in the playoffs. I also defended him earlier this year when Torts played him with Richards for about a 10-game stint.

However, he just looks old and slow lately. I'm not sure if it's injuries or age, but he gets outmuscled and loses board battles more often than he used to. I hope he bounces back in the playoffs, but I think he needs to be limited to 4th line minutes from here on out.

Third line killed us defensively tonight... -3 for the group...I didn't even watch the game, boxscore says it all.

Would any of you guys be against bringing Deveaux back up?

The defense in general killed us tonight. McD wasn't himself.

Fedetenko looks very slow. Maybe he was exhausted at the time, but, it was his inability to close the gap on Lee that allowed Lee to find Stamkos for the goal that made it 3-2. BTW, what the hell was Hagelin doing on Malone's goal? He seemed lost. Anyway, good for Dubi. He can be such an X-factor for this team going forward. Nice to finally see the Dubi/Richards/Gaborik combination, which Torts NEVER allowed to find any chemistry to start the year. When Cally comes back, it'd be nice to see him move next to AA and Step, with Hagelin pushing Fedetenko down to the 4th line.
