I said 3 points out of 4 will be nice after the Boston game and it is true. Great win.
It is a great win I agree. Getting 3 out of 4 points out of a back to back with Boston & Washington is definitely huge for the Devils moving forward in a tough upcoming week.

Sarcastic or not, Moose will get his chances to play in this very busy month. Team just needs to match Ottawa's pace and they'll be fine positioning wise for the postseason. At the very least go .500 and make the playoffs. Either or
Bout time they got their act straightened out! But it's one game only, I'm looking forward to seeing how they'll handle the Isles on Sunday and the Rags on Tuesday.
Hedberg needs to play more. Inexplicable that he hasn't played more this season.
Kovalchuk also needs to wake up and start scoring some goals for this team. It's a crucial time of the year. He's gone scoreless now for how many games?
You are literally never happy.
We lose one game, and this team sucks. No hope for us. We're the bottom feeder you expect us to be.
We win a game, and it's only one game. Kovy still sucks, and Hedberg's play time sucks. We didn't play like a bottom feeder but we really are.
Don't know why I'm posting it in this thread but I've always been curious. What's the joke with the gate being open before games? Btw, what a win!!
Dumb, annoying commercial that's on like five times during a game where a woman's climing a mountain to the words 'Somebody left the gate open' late in the spot.

With how Brodeur has played there is nothing to complain about. He had a 1.90 GAA and a .924 sv% in February. That's why Hedberg wasn't playing. Not because of an inexplicable bias like you feel the need to insinuate. Hedberg hasn't exactly been lights out when he plays. He hasn't been bad on the whole, but he has had his moments, but good and bad. Lets not act like he's a Vezina goalie that just isn't getting enough games in. He still has started 19 games so far. Not 10.
And what is this "Kovalchuk needs to wake up" crap. He's leading the team in points, has led the team in goals for a good portion of the season, distributes the puck on the power play, is an effective penalty killer (with 3 short handed goals). What more do you want from the guy? Sure he hasn't scored in 8 games, but he has still put up 6 points in that span. Elias had 1 goal in 14 games up until the other day. Parise scored 2 goals in all of November (14 games), and 3 in all of January (12 games). But no, they never needed to wake up and score. I get it. Kovy's fault for everything.
