Wow unbelievable how much we got for Cammy, sure Holland might not ever make the NHL but a 100+ pt season in the WHL is no accident. Hamilton is gonna be super talented next year. do you think gomez could help them with the title next year?

Calgary should of been sellers at the deadline. theyre franchise is in terrible shape. too bad because I usually like to root for them in the playoffs.

Not sure why some people aren't getting this. You NEED to know what Engqvist can bring to you. And it's not by calling him one day and sending him packing the other day that you'll know. And frankly, at this point, there's actually no real desire of having Hamilton make the playoffs or not. It's not like we'd be dressing a whole lot of future down there right now that would need the playoffs experience. Will be important to succeed for that team the day that Tinordi, Beaulieu, Ellis, Kristo and Co are there. But now? Who really has a shot for our team? Dumont, Naatinen, Schultz, St-Denis and Conboy. Conboy and Dumont are hurt and won't play in the playoffs. So sorry for Hamilton fans, but at this point, it's WAY MORE important to know how those guys will react with us than what they do down there.

Frankly, I would have probably called Naatinen instead of Leblanc 'cause I know Leblanc is part of my team next year. Or even really call Schultz instead of calling him for fun like they did before.

I'd have recalled Nattinen and Schultz rather than Leblanc and Engqvist...

I would like to see a line with Leblanc, Plekanec and Eller. Eller and Leblanc have played well together, no?

For the future, this site is all you need for our prospects: http://habsprospects.hockeyhq.net/

A poster on this board maintains that site.

Enqvist is a perfect tank player. Imagine Tom Pyatt with us this year lol.

The Leblanc hype has already took a cold shower imo. Let's wait 1-2 years until we judge the guy.

Engqvist when he played here, he wasn't even good defensively and he didn't showed ne bit of his offensive skills like in the AHL and he don't bring any physical presence.

That's why i hate him.

With the callup of those two guys, i hope they are not planning on taking any toughness out of the lineup whatsoever. Don't want to go back to watching that girly hockey anymore. Sit gomaz, he couldn't entertain 2 yr old fans.

Since I want Habs to lose, I'm ok with Engqvist call-up.

Btw, I think that Engqvist is worse than Pyatt, Chipchura and Palushaj.

Dumont's injured and Engvist has 18 goals and 34 points in 43 games in the offensively challenged Bulldogs.

I hope the Habs claim Rosehill and send down Leblanc. Yoyo-ing him from the NHL and AHL every week can't be good for development.

We are at 50 contract limit, we can't claim anybody.

Why Engqvist again ? We have already 4 healthy centers (DD-PLEK-ELLER-NOKE), why not Schultz to see what he's got.

Imagine a

Schultz-Noke-Staubitz line ?

Again, proving you know little about our prospects except for their names.

Is Nattinen really at the point of his development that he can be a call-up? I didn't think he was doing that well in Hamilton.

Forward Andreas Engqvist has been reassigned to the Hamilton Bulldogs.

He exploded recently in Hamilton, he's been excellent.

Not saying that would translate (see Enqvist) but he seems to have adjusted nicely.

I always was, the age difference is pretty big and I liked what I saw out of Nattinen in the WJC.

He's a weird player though. Absolutely terrible stats in Finland, but he's looked good every time I've followed him.

Plus apparently he can wear turtlenecks:

Sigh, why not send Leblanc down....he's not ready and has more to benefit from AHL time than playing 4th line minutes. Can't wait until we have managerial cleansing.

Absolutely. As far as I'm concerned, tonight proved that Leblanc needs more time in Hamilton, as does Geoffrion. It's hard to blame management though with guys like Gionta, Moen, Darche and Gomez all out of the line-up.

I always liked Nattinen's game away from the puck. If only Hamilton could make him lay the physical game better (not necessarily more, though)...
