I actually wanted them to win up to not too long ago. I went to the Habs/Devils game and the Habs were a complete no show in that game and they played like a team that wanted to lose. So at this point, I just don't see what good would come out of winning more games except for these guys' honor which they seem to have lost along the way anyway.

I'd rather have a chance to pick up a new Malkin-Skinner-Duchene-Seguin.

Than a new David Fischer, Scott Glennie, Nikita Filatov.

Loose the next 15 games, to have a chance to have a real talent on the team? I think its worth it.

I'd rather loose 15 games, and have a MUCH better team in the future.
Than win the next 15 games, and not make the playoffs again next year.

No...

the Caps with 1st overall Alex Ovechkin, 4th overall Nicklas Backstrom and 5th overall Karl Alzner...

I don't have it in my heart to actively cheer against the Habs, but at this point in a hopeless season I'm not disappointed when they lose.

I mean just imagine this, it makes me shivle :

Yakupov-Plekanec-Leblanc
Pacioretty-Desharnais-Cole
Bourque-Eller-Gionta
Moen-X-White
oh man i love this line up

It is hard for me to cheer against them. I always have a momentary lapse in judgment and celebrate when the Habs score. I then sit back down and question why I just celebrated that goal. Winning is not a good thing, I keep having to remind myself of that

This happen to anyone else?

Winning is too ingrained in my long relation with the Habs. I can't help it, I hate it when they lose, force of habit. Just don't let the Leafs get below us. We're solidly in the top 5, let's stay there.

Wishing your team to lose is ridiculous.

The players, proud athletes, want first and above all to taste the victory.

Obviously, the Habs won't finish bottom-two, and the rest of the 1st round prospects - let's say from 3rd to 15th ranked player - have as much chance as the next guy to succeed or fail at NHL level.

I want the Habs to get at least 82 points and play .500 hockey this year. Most of their stats are pointing to a team that is .500 good (or bad...)

I don't think it matters whether people want for them to win or lose, a 15th placed team doesn't go 15-2 in the last 17 games. They will lose.

Do people actually expect the Habs to lose every single game for the rest of the season?

Do you think the players are robots with no pride or something?

what I find funny is seeing the hesitant celebrations by fans at the game

Against Toronto/Boston, I want wins and physicality. Against everyone else, regulation loss.

i couldn't choose, i try to see the upside of every situation right now. When we score i cheer and then if we lose i don't mind (it still kinda hurts though) and try to imagine Yakupov or Grigo or Galchenyuk or Forsberg in a habs jersey
