So much to be impressed with really. Malone and Connolly were on ****ing fire tonight. Connolly has strung together some really nice games and has only looked better with more ice time.
Lee has situational awareness and there is no panic in his game at all. Commodore is pleasantly invisible really. Which is what you'd want out of a stable defender really.
Aulie, jitters makes sense to me.
Mikkelson looked rusty and a bit more out of sorts than he typically does, still not awful and still happy as hell we got him for Blair Jones.
Backhand sauce from MSL to Purcell far top corner was a thing of beauty. MSL is a ninja. 16/91/26 line got rolling (thanks to last change) and NYR had no answer for them in the later half of the game. #91 goal, assist, game saving backcheck...not much more to say about Stammer other than he's elite and getting better ... scary.
Regardless of the outcome of the season, Lightning look so much better than they did even a month ago.
Fun game to watch tonight.... No quit on Tampa Bay.
Despite all the **** we went through this season, that one thing has been constant. Other than a few stinkers, this team fights night in and night out.
Sens fan here... By reading the GDT it seems Lee has been playing solid... Ive always been a Lee fan and thought he got the shaft in Ottawa...Glad he is playing well...
He was impressive. Aside from the offensive contribution, he hasn't been afraid to shoot the puck or join the rush (actually, all of our D men have been doing that more lately), and has been pretty solid in the back end. Hoping he keeps this up and turn into another Eric Brewer-esque deadline steal.

What comments do you guys have on his game??
He seems like a smart and calm player, he's solid in the defensive zone and most importantly he made a couple of very nice passes (including his 2 assists tonight).

Well good luck to you guys, if Tampa Bay makes the playoffs it will be earned.

Like others have said, smart and poised. Defensively I like his gap control. He can quickly get squared on a guy and he also puts himself in good position to make a play on the attacker.

I'll echo those sentiments about Lee, he's looked good in the first two games here. Need a bigger sample size obviously but so far it's looking like a good pickup. Very impressive play setting up Stammer for his goal with the patience he showed.
One of the best efforts of the season, most of the night they were beating the Rangers to loose pucks and winning the one on one battles. They were rewarded with the two points tonight, well earned. Connolly is really coming on now, he looks a lot more confident and continues to create chances. That was robbery by Lundqvist on Brett's shot midway through the third on the PP.
I absolutely love Pyatt's work ethic and determination. Sheer willpower allowed him to beat McDonagh for that tap in; he's been a great puck hound all year long. Marty's spin and backhand sauce to Teddy was amazing. Really glad Purcell's continued his strong play and hasn't regressed like I predicted he would. Lee's been solid, playing a steady and poised game on the back end (especially loved that slap pass for Stammer's 45th goal of the season).
How did Aulie look ? I know we have to give him time because he's defence but did he look like he belonged ?
Not yet, he looked a little lost but had several good hits. First game jitters. He will do fine. Starting to really believe SFY's knack for finding talent. Must be a Detroit thing.
