Just got back as well, got my pennant signed and a game puck. Really nice guy, could really tell he appreciates the fan support

Same here. I'm at Pembina and Stafford and don't have a vehicle, so that's way too crazy haha.

Yeah I googled that...I am fairly certain that that location is the EXACT furthest spot you could be from me while still being inside the perimeter...

Yeah a little, probably partly because of the language barrier too.

Though it was kinda funny - on my pennant he looked at Kane's signature and said "Is that Kaners?" and when I said yeah he asked if he could sign over it

Is it apart of contracts that these do this?
Or are they getting paid extra... or just doing it out of the goodness of their hearts?

Burmistrov probably does the most interviews between periods of any of the Jets. I get the sense that he's tackling his struggles with English by forcing himself to speak it as much as possible. He definitely seems lost during the interviews at times but he sticks it out and tries to give an answer. You have to respect the kid for that.

Awesome story

If it's at a car dealership, you can bet they're getting some kind of deal like a free car or a big discount on one.

As far as I know NHL contracts can't require endorsement of other businesses owned by any of the parties involved with the team, i.e. Chipman family owned dealerships can't be given any preferential treatment by players over other dealerships offering similar endorsement deals. These are completely separate from their NHL contracts.

I heard Buff on Sunday at 2pm at Shoppers

Facebook page says this one is for charity, not sure about the others.

They're getting paid an appearence fee by the dealership. It has nothing to do with the team really. Like Crosby doing adverts for Tim Hortons only on a smaller scale. I think Pav signed at Jim Gauthier and he's also on their radio commercial.

So if Buff is at Shoppers does that mean he's getting free drugs?

Wheeler seems to be quite a fan of Winnipeg Pet Rescue.

I know he's been there a few times and he's always retweeting them.

Wheeler is fast becoming my favorite Jet, he loves the city and always speaks from the heart, when I see things like this it reminds me of how Teemu played such a huge role in the community.

I've never been to a signing. I want to go to the Wheeler/Little one. How early should I go, and what would be a good thing to get signed. I don't have any Jets gear.

I wish they could sign my cats.

I know some of the dealerships have pictures of the player that you can grab, but it has logos of the dealership on it. I'm not sure if the Pet Rescue Shelter will have that, though.

Iusually show up two hours prior. But that's because I like being near the start of the line.

Game tickets, hockey cards, 8 x 10's are all great for signing.

Cheap mini sticks look awesome signed too!

I plan on getting a pennant or something that's large, cheap and mostly white. Then I can collect signatures on it for awhile. I don't have the space or the desire to have a million autographed pieces of memorabilia.

Has anyone seen a large poster of a team photo in stores? I think most teams would have it, I've never seen one for the Jets though.

I'm not sure if they are selling them but they handed out team photo posters at the second Montral game. Perfect for multiple autographs before framing.
