Sather sounded very confident about Kreider jumping right in.

Vermont looks like a bunch of high school players out there. BC should win big..

I'm surprised at how convinced they are. Don't get me wrong I think it's great they're so confident, but I don't know if it's the best development idea.

Sounds like we are about to find out unless Chris agrees with you.

Did Slats really compare the two?

Oh boy...

No. Dave Starman compared them, in the facet of how they came to BC and became much more complete players and became versatile. Sather responded by saying how Boyle's game has become much better and that he hopes for Kreider to have success like Boyle did. He never compared them in the way that you think he did.

Sather isn't going to **** on Boyle.

Slats just being diplomatic as the announcer mentioned BB as a big versatile kid who played multiple position at BC . I don't think Slats wanted to herb on Boyle and say he's an ankle bender compared to CK .

Not really compare. The guy calling the game asked a question about changing his game like Boyle did in college, and Sather said Boyle is a great player for NY and if Kreider became as good as Boyle he'd be very pleased.

He had to be lying through his cigar.

Looks like C Thomas isn't playing in his game tonight. I looked on the Gens website to see if he got injured but couldn't find anything. Got a point in his last game, I don't think he would be benched. He's one of the few consistent players on the Generals.

Just got back from my old HS's State Quarterfinal game, yikes, was an ugly win.

Good to see BC is on tv. I just heard them say Kreider scored, good stuff.

McIlrath scoreless in his teams win, but he managed to get 3 roughing minors and a 10 min misconduct.

So I knew about Boyle... a half decade before Sather did. That's always comforting.

BC is hosting UMASS in a best of 3 starting on Friday #1 VS #8

The top 8 teams make the HE Tournament. The 4 winners of the best of 3 advance to the finals on March 16 and 17. The winner of the tournament gets an automatic berth to the NCAA tournament but BC is making the tournament win or lose.

NCAA Selection show is Sunday March 18

NCAA Tournament begins March 23. Some brackets will play March 23 and March 24 or March 24 and March 25. Friday,Saturday and Sunday.

BC played on Friday night last season and they lost.

Danny Hobbs will be available by next week. He could sign an ATO to play in CT.

Just curious if Gaudreau is a true Freshman? It is interesting that York is giving Gaudreau lots of minutes as a freshman. I thought York only favored juniors and seniors.
Kreider didn't receive top minutes until his junior year
