Post-TDL Canadiens, entertaining? Y/N

Since trading Kostitsyn, we are lacking even more firepower than before and while that wasn't the nail int he coffin to the season it sure was a signal for coach Cunneyworth to employ a different approach to the team that seems to be one designed towards team toughness, but are we still entartaining to watch despite the losses?

My answer is yes, I like the new philosophy of the team. Subban and Emelin throwing open-ice highlight reel bodychecks + our newfound camaraderie and willingness to stick up for eachother will make this a smooth ride until the end and at least give us a new facet of hockey to enjoy that we haven't seen in years. And all this leading towards our future superstar.

But that's my opinion, what about you? Are you "enjoying" the losses as much right now considering our newfound... truculence?

Trading a big strong guy like Kostitsyn out of our top 6-(9) is great for tanking!

Even if we loose too often, the games are more fun to watch than ever

The Wild game was fun to watch, but not for the hockey.

It's entertaining in the sense that you have no idea what can happen, but the hockey is almost early 00s bad.

Tonight was the worst game I've ever had the displeasure of watching in person.

Dump and don't retrieve, long pass after long pass missing... There's a reason we have so many hits under Cunneyworth: We never have the ****ing puck.

BTW: Leafs went on a 20-4 shot run after the Staubitz fight. Smart decision for Brown, I guess.

I don't think it's a huge difference since last week. A few more fights maybe, but I remember hitting a lot before too (perhaps that had to do with a certain #46 who DID hit). The only positive thing watching this team is that when we inevitably suck, we know we're being rewarded for it. Have to say I am not happy with losing to the Leafs, though. Those were some bs calls, but seriously anaemic offense aside from our one line. I really feel bad for pleks cuz he has absolutely nobody to play with.

Subban has been very impressive though. Weber, not so much.

The fact that the Habs are done for the season, makes this team entertaining to watch with all the antics....too bad they didn't play the Bruins once more.

But next year...**** entertaining...I want wins.

You miss something because it's a lot more fun to watch a 2-1 lost with all those hits & fights than a 2-1 victory over the Islanders a tuesday night, when it look like a women league

Love the chippy edge the Habs have now... but we're an inbetween team that is in the midst of becoming a rough, tough team. I hope that continues and we end up with entertaining teams taht WIN!! And not just squeak into the playoffs and collapse.

I don't know about entertaining, but I'll definitely submit 'interesting'. The more NHL exposure I get to see of players who were in Hamilton this year/last, the more interested I am.

We're still very boring since we're a one-line team.

Does anyone have a list of prospects that should join the Bulldogs next season? I would love to see Kristo, Leblanc, Gallagher, Bournival, Tinordi, Beaulieu, Ellis and even Holland play on the same team.

pretty much this, and looking forward to high draft pick. Not very entertaining to watch them lose though.

Also, poll option is skewed, i'm not entertained but i do enjoy seeing mtl last in the east.

one offensive line
three grinding lines

kudos to Connie, took only two games with the new linemates to turn Plekanec into a "dump and something" C

Have any of you guys thought about the movie Slapshot while watching the last few games ? By the way, I do like having a guy like Staubitz in addition to White and Moen, though I need to see that Staubitz can play 8-9 minutes without being a liability and playing an energy line role besides fighting.

I am actually weighing the pros and cons of ending my RDS subscription early this year. That's how entertained I am.
