Im excited for this game! Been a fan since the original.

I do wish they would of lost the cloak if they are ramping up to a more modern age/ new environment. Hopefully there is an option to change up your wears and not just the color of your cloak.

Will wait for reviews to see if I even buy this one weeks after release. Got tired of the second one and didn't even finish it.

Den defense and that ******** Animus game where you manage cubes and shapes in front of you was a giant step in the wrong direction IMO.

Honestly, Revelations was just a forgettable game.
The original AC:2 is easily the best game in the series, I hope the next lives up to it.

I've never done a real den defense outside of that tutorial. I just refused to have anything to do with it and never let my level get too high.

Sadly, I read that may be returning.
I've been reading about hunting societies, changing seasons, giant battles involving 1000+ AI, everchanging landscapes, an improved notoriety system, a more fluid free running gameplay mechanic and lots of long cutscenses with motion caption - I really hope the last one is true, because cutscense in past AC games have been poor.

Can't wait for the trailer in two days!

So does this mean theyre running a new engine? The one theyve been using for all the games thus far is looking dated specifically in characters. I mean, the cities and everything look fantastic still, just the people in the game look pretty bad. Shouldve been the game for an engine overhaul

I found the combat tweaks in Brotherhood to be far more satisfying than AC2.

The finishers etc.?
Combat was very good in both games (IMO), but 90% of the time, I'm trying to do the "stealthy" thing anyway.

I never had a problem with gameplay/combat/stealth etc. in Brotherhood/Revelations.

But the mini-games were a complete chore with no excitement or fun at all.

I want to be an assassin and stealth around and sneak and stab people.
I'll even do some riddles a la AC:2.

But for pity's sake, remove the retarted Den Defence and the idiotic cube game. WTF is that, who "okay'd" that??

Wow, at least from the presentation of things, they have outdone themselves and found rebirth after a few recent trip ups; but of course, we haven't seen anything of the actual game yet though. Looks fantastic though.

This could really be awesome if the gameplay in the wilderness works properly. Free-running through trees and conducting ambushes in the woods? Wow.

The fate of this game will depend on if the wilderness stuff works. That's going an entirely new direction that could either fail, or be amazing
