Mattias Karlsson

Do you think he would possibly ever come back? He obviously gave up wayyy too early because he could have been in Gilroy's spot today if he hadn't left.

51 points in 71 games is pretty damn good for a team that has it's best players as Ilya Zubov, Greg Mauldin, and Peter Regin. He actually was third on the teams in total points.

I didn't watch Bingo back in 2008, how good was this guy? I lurked on the boards back then and I remember people saying he gave up too early but I don't remember the whole situation. He is pretty big at 6"2 also. Was he a bad defensive player?

There shall be no other Karlsson on this team! Do you think Erik wants an E on his back?

I was on the toilet at the time...my droid has a problem with punctuation so I have to use slashes for spaces otherwise it locks up and reboots.

I love how you say this every time.

I thought Zubov had a better chance then he did. I completely forgot about him too. EK would look strange with "E. Karlsson" on his back though. I'm happy he left.

Maybe they'd let him change the name on his jersey to Norris.

It was determined fairly definitively that he could not play in the NHL and nothing he has done since being in the AHL has given anyone any reason to doubt this assessment.

What a random post...

Ya like the kids from Ontario. I mean we are a Ontario team so we should have more Ontario boys, they would play their heart out for the Sens.

I never undertood why teams do this. You have 2 Karlssons, OK one is #65 the other is number whatever. Why do you need to differentiate further by adding an initial? Suppose Mattias' first name was Edward, or Eric then what? IMO that's why they wear numbers.

edit: OK maybe for announcers like bob cole.

But Bob Cole thinks Karlsson wears #55, and Kubina plays for us, wearing #17...

there you go. even names on the back becomes superfluous for cole, so what good would an extra initial be? Anyway, I'd think most people watching a game would be able to tell the apart. Now the Sedins I can see why. Karlssons, not so much.

LET'S TALK ABOUT SASKATCHEWAN!

Karlsson won't come back, he's not good enough and I doubt he would go via AHL again.
