3/3 Stalock to AHL Peoria

As previously discussed in Worcester thread, and as now reported on AHL transactions....

Sharks have assigned Stalock to AHL Peoria (for the balance of the season).

They still hold his rights. He cannot be assigned (back) to Worcester this season.

But he can be called up to NHL.

Sounds like he'll get a bunch of ice time (rather than having to share with two others in Worcester).

Should've asked for Hitchcock coming back.

Negative value asset. We'd have to add to convince them to take him.

Good point.

They can have Wayne Thomas too.

Is the fact that we didn't get anybody back a Worcester GM thing or a SJ GM thing? Or is it some mixed decision?

Well, Wayne Thomas (Worcester's GM) does exactly what he's told to by Doug Wilson (San Jose's GM)...so to me it's six of one, half a dozen of the other.
