No, it's correct. Today is his 1000th game. Hope the Devils make it a win for him.

I'd never mess with you guys. Okay maybe glenwo or DATW

Anyway, I'm happy for Sykie. As you can see from my avatar.
This was made by RG out of special request randomly a few years ago. Brought it back for the reunion tour.

Congratulations Petr!

Sykora has been the best pickup so far this off season. He, and Ponikarovsky have been the additions. For $650k grand it don't get any better. I think Boulton is paid more or around the same. Sykora logs 2-3 times as many ice time, is never a healthy scratch, and has posted 15 times as many goals, and 38 times as many points. Not taking anything saying I can't stand Boulton just pointing out the facts, and calling it as I see it.

Sykora has also indirectly given us many more points by bringing out the best in Elias this season. I say keep him next year. It might cost us a bit more, but I see no reason we can't give him a million. He's definitely a million dollar player. He's a bit slower, but this guy hasn't aged in like 10 years! I was surprised how youthful looking he still is.

He's also a plus 3 which doesn't surprise me. I only remember two goals against us that were in part caused by him the whole season.

You have something against Sykora or something?

He's slow? DUH!! As if that's friggin' news to us.

I wonder if you're one of those very few who didn't want Sykie on this team 'cause you thought he had nothing left and even now that he proved he had something left, you still can't STAND IT that you were wrong.

Sykora has been a godsend for the price. Between us I thought Elias might have been done 2 years ago, and it hurt to see that cause he's my favorite player. This season he's not only went back 3 years he's went back 11 years!

Part of it might be due to Sykora, because Patty played well with Kovy, and Zach too.

Sergei Brylin wanted a tryout this Summer too. While I think he may have been able to help us with our zone clearing problem I'm glad we got Sykora. I'm not gonna rip on the guy who's spot Sykora took, but Sykora has been pretty effective. I don't know that anybody down in Albany could have put up those points, and anyone else who could have likely would cost us at least a million five, if not more.

If Sykora was 2-3 years younger I think he would be a highly sought after UFA this Summer.

Elias isn't remotely done. His speed is going, but his hands and hockey sense keep him effective.

There was a little patch a couple years ago where it looked like he was fading.

Perhaps with how great he has been this season it makes that patch look a lot worse than it really was.
