AK having a 2 pts night wearing a Preds jersey while the habs are struggling to beat a crappy team, and dead last in the conference.

This season is such a nightmare.

Trading AK for 2nd round picks sucks, really. Where is this team gonna go anyway with 2nd round picks. It's gonna take these players 5 years to be good at NHL level, if ever. **** it.

They better bring superstar material this summer.

Just thought I'd share some images with you from last might.

-My son, 6 years old, anticipating the Habs to come out for their pre-game skate.

-Our view, without any zoom. Unbelievable.

-The kids that skate onto the ice with the flags, getting a glimpse of what is to come.

-A funny little video that played before the game, consisting of David Desharnais eating pancakes. He did not throw out his back prior to taking a bite.

-Warm-ups before the game.

-Opening face-off.

I also got the chance to take two videos. The first one is of Subban practicing with the puck as the song, "How Ya Like Me Now?" is blasted. The second one is the entire opening video, the Habs skating onto the ice and the starting line-up. To my dismay, Campoli and Kaberle were the starting defensive pairing but Campoli played his best game of the season.

Great to see a 6 yr old smiling at a Habs game...too bad the boys didn't win, but the Bell Centre is a great experience for fans, win or lose....

Hate losing to the Leafs, but it sure looks like the injuries, and the way the team is playing, we are going to get a good pick out of the draft this season...

You know what's going to make this season even longer? Listen to all the comics here with there 'tank' injections in ever ****ing post. Yeah, we get it... the 'tank' thing makes you feel better about being a fan, but enough is enough.

Jesus.

Bah it's just really difficult to keep being interested at the habs since they won't be making the playoffs. It's not like the last 20 games had that huge of an impact on next season. Momentum wouldn't last all summer long anyway.

Blake Geoffrionis a hobey baker trophy winner who never got a chance to have a real offensive role in the NHL, putting him with Plekanec is just about the perfect scenario to see where exactly he is in his development.
Newsflash. Nearly every NHLer was a scoring threat in junior. Sometimes even goons were.

Also, isn't it painfully obvious that Geoffrion is barely a NHL player. He couldn't crack the offensively challenged preds line up that is well managed and coached, but he can be our 1st liner ? Sure..

I guess you showed why you're not a professional with that post as well.

It beats the hell out of winning right now and screwing up a top 5 pick.

The rest of the season will seem long and tedious. I can't even get excited about the Habs' first draft choice. No doubt he'll be very good but he'll probably not appear in the lineup next season and he may never develop into a superstar. The tankards will be SO disappointed.

Weber's only had one screw up: a totally accurate and nuanced analysis of his season.

But then you'll complain about improper asset management when he leaves Montreal in the offseason.

Actually, you should reword that phrase to:

It's shocking what Gainey & Gauthier can do in 4 years.
