I had a feeling we gonna get smacked... but not like this... what a pathetic performance, this team needs winners, players with pride, proven track record, and most importantly cups.

This is the most remarkable thing I've ever seen said on here. That is really saying something. I almost can't bring myself to correct you, but I guess I have to: Their second-line center that year was Tomas Fleischmann about half the time, and Brendan Morrison about half the time. Laich may have played a game or two there. He never got a long look because he was clearly horrible at it.
Laich always played center, they would have other people take face offs for him because he sucked at it.
He never sticks at center because he's terrible at it positionally.
He isn't, I don't see how people say that. In 09-10 he was 43%. This year hes sub 49%, which is still bad.
Hes mostly going against first line centers which typically aren't even great face off people themselves, so how he pulls off the face off specialist losing 51% of his face offs is beyond me.
