Your argument might hold more weight in the mid 60's than in 48 but the same would apply to 2010 and 1996 as well.
Four of the Rangers from 1948 who played over 30 games were multi positional players- Watson, Colville, Leswick, Trudell. No Rangers had over 100 PIM or close.

Probably not but it would make the race really interesting.

As it is it's Weber to lose then Karlsson but it's hard to figure out what voters are going to think of him only playing less than 40 mins SH this year so far.

No idea on how this is relevant to the post I responded to.

My point is that there is little real actual evidence of more or less stars in all of the 06 compared to what Lidstrom played most of his minutes against.

They won't give it much though if he finishes in the top 10 in scoring.
Something that hasn't been accomplished in almost 20 years tends to hold more weight than how many SH minutes someone plays.
