Why does everyone get our colors wrong?

EA, Versus, ESPN, + etc...

Our colors are black, orange, and gold. Gold, not yellow.




I can't find a picture but the 3rd jerseys in NHL 12 and NHL 11 have the same yellow instead of gold, and it kills the jersey

Is there any reason or history why we have this yellow everywhere?

The gold we use. It's not vibrant. It's close to brown really.

They're only hard to reproduce if you're trying to make them glittery like in real life.
