No problem dude, see you at the show (I'll be upstairs in the balcony with friends enjoying a beer, quietly singing along to Justin Vernon's music).

So far, the bands rumoured to headline this summer's Osheaga festival are The Black Keys and Florence + The Machine.

They are just rumors though. At this time of the year, last year, Explosions in the sky and Surfer Blood were rumored to be in Osheaga.

They both didn't make it to the lineup.

Other bands that are in other outdoor festivals but won't be part of Osheaga are Foster the People and Beirut. They're coming to Montreal in July so I wouldn't expect them to be part of the lineup. The Black Keys would be great though.

Beirut were here last year, I don't expect them to be back again this year.

I gotta admit, The Black Keys were pretty underwhelming back in 2010. But it may have been the fact that they were scheduled at 2:30 in the afternoon, the crowd was sparse, and the sun was blazing hot. They've also become more popular over the past two years and the songs off El Camino should be amazing to hear live. I'm also a big fan of Florence + The Machine so I'm really hoping these rumours come true.

I hope my "connections" come through again like last year and I get in for free again

For Osheaga, you guys think there will be a BIG name like Eminem this year ?

I hope Coldplay or Bon Jovi would play sur les Plaines d'Abraham, I had good time last year Seeing Metallica & Eminem.

As big as Eminem? No. I don't think there is anyone that is as "big" as Eminem.

I can confirm that Young the Giant will be at Osheaga. They announced it at their show last night. Also, kind of weird that they scheduled it the same week as Lollapalooza. I'm interested to see how it works out. Hopefully the lineup is solid. Was originally praying that the Avett Brothers would be coming but they're gonna be at the Corona in a little over a month. I'm super psyched. Hopefully they come back for Osheaga but I doubt it.

My expectation for Eminem was high. And sadly, i thought it was going to be better. Seeing Metallica who gave us a hell of a show might have affect my expectation.

+ The number of stupid ********** at Parc Jean Drapeau was way too much

I can't wait for the list of artist coming to mtl and quebec city

Would like it if Beastie Boys came...I was so looking forward to them a few years ago before they had to back out.

I feel like Foo Fighters would be a good band to play at Osheaga.

I sincerely hope there is nothing like Eminem this year. There were so many ****ing d-bags last year cause of Eminem. I feel like the best headliner lineup in the last few years was Arcade Fire/Weezer. They brought good crowds. Coldplay was WAY too crowded the year before.

I was front row for Black Keys in 2010 and thought they were amazing. Not sure they are headliner material though...I liked them because it was a small set that was real loud and rocked hard. As headliners that would be less intimate.

Metallica wasn't there last year, maybe the year before?

And eminem was amazing! When he did the song sky full of lighters, and everyone had their lighters lit was an epic moment! If I go back though I'll definitely get seats this time, I almost had a panic attack on the way out. Our feet were advancing one inch at a time. Took over an hour just to get to the exit. If you are a fan of eminem and never seen him live, I suggest you do everything you can to see him though, he's amazing live! I also saw him in 2000-2001(?) at the bell center with Limp Bizkit. One of the greatest memories of my life.

Pouzza Fest (or whatever) has two shows I'm looking forward to. Both of them include Brendan Kelly (one acoustic, and one with the Lawrence Arms).

I need to get the days off work.

my top two for Pouzza are Lagwagon and Voodoo Glow Skulls

here are the bands so far for Rockfest in Montebello. It's a pretty crazy list:
Korn
Bar Religion
Sublime with Rome
Good Riddance
No Use For a Name
Good Riddance
Suicide Silence
Dream Theater
