I will renew this year, its bad enough I lose money on games I can't sell like Columbus during the week or some of those teams no one wants to go to. Now I will lose 3 pre-season games as well after the construction is over, that is prob when I will stop renewing. After 21 years I will stop going to games thanks to the greed of Dolan

so when the bridges get put in for the 2013-2014 season, those of us placed in the new upper 200's should get the same treatment with a price reduction right? i wish

Correct, my mistake. I meant to say the fact that the renderings show monitors on the rear facing sides of the bridge. Maybe it's just for artistic purposes. Perhaps since the bridges are going to be there anyway there's no harm in placing them there and they would actually be better to look at than the bridge? But there's also the chance that the bridges will be obstructing the scoreboard for those sitting high up in the upper bowl.

exactly, and likewise they're going to have to drop prices for people in the new upper 200's for 2013-14+ because no one is going to pay 50 bucks to sit there

If it is an obstructed view of the ice, I would think so. I don't think it will be though.

Very interesting, you got upgraded from corner to center. I think that's going to happen a lot. Full season ticket holders don't have all the best seats in the current garden. There are a lot of partial plans in good locations and seats that have been held for individual resale.

What will happen in relocation, like it did at Yankee Stadium, is that the full season ticket holders will get reassignemnt priority and be able to jump to better locations in front of partial planners (which some say might be axed all together).

Also same question as above, you went from which row to which row?

those $29 blue seats are just going to be obstructed view of gardenvision much like they are now. why the price difference for those if we wouldnt get any reduction being all the way up top of the new 200's and not be able to see gardenvision?

I have to think it would be the $53's, they shouldn't be moving you up a major price category unless there's no alternative

Are you sure? I think it is going to be an obstruction of the ice. Cant see them offering a discount because you can't see the fist pump competitions on the jumbo screen Personally, I would pay more to not have to watch most of the stuff they put up there.

idk, if its not an obstruction of the ice now, why would they purposely do that for next season?

I would think so, too. BUT, ya never know. This is the garden. I could easily see them first moving 400-people to the 53's, then when they see they do not have all the 79's filled, moving people into the more expensive seats at random and then saying, "Too bad."

The 29's are the back rows of the blue seats, which are going to be directly under that West End Balcony. Thinking they already know the balcony is going to hang down and block the view of the last few rows.

The current sections of 410, 411, up to 416 are going to be removed and new floors built steeper and most likely higher than they currently sit. The back of the section will be blocked. Someone earlier said that people in those seat now have been effected.

right but the balcony is already hanging down there anyways and doesnt block the ice. just blocks garden vision.

and if you compare this years seating chart to next years, its the same amount of rows that are going to be there

Also it wouldn't surprise me if Dolan's architect design the angles in those west 400's to be able to just barely see the entire "court", then realizing "OOPS, I think they play hockey here too"

It was always difficult to see the near zone from those seats. People relied on garden vision to watch the play. If they are both blocked, it could be the reason.

I guess it would also depend if they are leaving those sections as they are or if they are being re-built. If they are being re-built it could be worse as far as the obstruction.

Do you really believe that? It's an 800 million dollar renovation. Any of those angles were considered and deemed acceptable before the drawings were approved.

The new meadowlands was a 1.6 Billion dollar project, and everyone in the upper deck got screwed on stair/escalator access, concourse wind exposure, and horizontal & vertical distance from the field because their sole focus was on the luxury suites and field level suites.

So yes, I absolutely think Dolan could have neglected rear angles for plebian seating that they only charge $10 for to Knicks games. $800 Million is almost a meaningless number to cheap seats when they're focusing on their biggest revenue makers (suites & club seats)
