Well you could tell based on the view from row 17 in the corner. The West Balcony just out right there next to the scoreboard so it's obvious the bridge is gonna run directly across it. Based on that, it wouldn't shock me to see everything row 15 and up ($50 and $53 price points) blocked by the bridge from being able to see the scoreboard. I think it may run even lower than that too. Row 9 from that same corner section seems like it avoided it but not by too much.

I'm not saying you're wrong...just that if the balcony is over those rows they would likely not be affected. It would be at least several rows behind the bridge where it would create an obstruction, no?

That said, looking at the pictures it appears the bridges will run over the 9th to 14th rows give or take. So yeah, a few rows behind them and you could be in trouble.

They have a view from row 6 which is a $29 dollar prices point and the scoreboard is completely blocked whether you're sitting or standing and it appears part of the corner you're closest to is blocked off by a wall.

Not renewing.

Going to go with a mini plan if available. If not I'll most likely wind up with a three way split. It's just too much right now.

And what is the reason for the bridge? so unneeded. Does anyone know if the bridge is going to be in effect for the 2013-14 year? or 2012-13?

It's a gimmick, they're trying to do something cute like the premium monster seats in Fenway and they're trying to maximize seating capacity. One of the dumbest ideas in arena history for sure when considering how many upper level seats will be impacted.

On the flip side, that's going to be an awesome concourse to walk across

Rangers don't shoot twice on the 209 end. They moved him from the good end to the bad end.

Sure will be a new venue when completed. There is no doubt that the bridges will obscure the scoreboard. IMO, this is not a valid reason for them to have to designate them as obstructed. The $29 seats all seem to have some of the ice or the goal obstructed. So long as you can see the ice surface, it should be OK. Sure do not like this "pricing by row" nonsense, but every other club also does this. In a capped league and with the Rangers playing so well, MSG is making money hand over fist on the Rangers.

What's the total MSG seating capacity for next season?
