Should be a little over 17,000. They said capacity would be the same as it was before the renovation and that was including the 1,000 seats the bridges will add.

Why the hell did they jack up the West Balcony so much anyway. Do they feel that the fact everything is right behind you justifies the huge increase?

I think so... I've sat in the West Balcony once before and it was great. But not sure if I'd want to spend an entire season up there. It feels kinda isolated. May be better when bridges are built, and at least they won't be obstructed in any way.

Sure do not like this "pricing by row" nonsense, but every other club also does this. In a capped league and with the Rangers playing so well, MSG is making money hand over fist on the Rangers.
The walkways will have scores but no video...definitely will obstruct it tho:

That photo looks like it is taken from the back of the section. Seems to me you can see the ice and all the action.

How many games are we paying for 41? My section 211 row 14 would be $79 per game...not $73 as map says. Can anyone help?

41 yeah and the seating chart is wrong I believe. Should be $79 for those center sections.

I believe the price on ticketdisaster was close and on stubhub, they were going for a lot more.

Yeah we were just inside the blue line where they defend twice. Great sight lines though and you see pretty much every puck go in.

It looks like my new seats would be even further in the zone as 209 looks like 426. It's all moot at this point though.

I was relocated me from 410 to west Blacony.
I don't mind those seats but they should be the same price point as the others ($47-53). No way I can accept these at that price.

Great start to the week.

All of the tickets are going for a ton. The reason why the tickets weren't sold for $39 this year is because they weren't offered as season tickets but that's what the price was for them this past year. They were sold for more through TicketDisaster and group sales since they go for more than the STH price. I guess they figured maybe no one knew what the actual price was on those seats this year too lol

My rep said every single seat in the upper bowl is assigned and there is zero room for movement. He said beginning May 11th, seats where people did not renew then become up for grabs based upon tenure.

Do you guys have any suggestions on how to voice my displeasure with my current seating assignment? I don't want to give up my seats, but at the same time I have such a horrible value I can't imagine renewing. I don't know if I should be calm and reasonable, or be stern and angry.

Be calm, reasonable AND stern & angry (not too angry sounding though). Maybe you can ask if you can pass on the seats but maintain seniority so that if after May or even next year, you're first in line if new seats open up in a comparable price range

Got moved from 314 row D to Section 221 Row 5 seat 16-17. Is 16-17 close to the good aisle toward center ice? I'm a little further from center ice, a row backwards. Overall, not bad but I'm really worried about the potential obstruction of the wheelchair seats to the right in sect. 222 if I'm right near that aisle.
