How low can we go?

Assuming the Flames finish the season playing like they have, how low in the standings could we potentially finish? We're only 5 points out 25th place while somehow being 3 points out of a playoff spot. Figure that one out.

We have been playing .500 hockey so we would finish with 86 points so we would most likely finished out side the top 5 but in the top 10, I would say around tenth.

We aren't really 3 points out of a playoff spot, as the team 3 points ahead of us has 2 games in hand.

Huge difference.

Yup. When dealing with games in hand, you have to assume worst case scenario. That means we are technically 7 points out.

Dallas is five points up on us, with the same amount of games played.

Okay, well I didn't look at the standings at all for that last post... I just assumed what people were saying. That's what I get, I guess.

Barring a major injury (i.e. Kiprusoff) I'd bet they finish somewhere between 10th to 12th in the draft.

I'm feeling like well be in the top 10, but just barely (ie 8-9). Hopefully we scoop up someone good.

Hop on boards guys, the MacKinnon train is leaving the station in a few months. Time to blow it up and follow the Oilers model. Trade Iggy and Kipper in the off season.

Stop Winnin for MacKinnon!

It humors me that this culture is acceptable to a fanbase.

Apparently you have lots of time on your hands when you know your team can't win.

After so many years, it must come naturally to them.
