Good callup by Lehner. He showed he can be an NHL goalie sooner rather than later. Definitely excited to see what Bishop can do now!

Not sure Bishop instead of Lehner will solve any of our recent problems but, whatever.

We have more than 1 capable call up for a goaltender?

Next step: Bishop and Lehner up. Auld waived.

Bishop is much more NHL ready than Lehner and a lot of you will see that. Better technique, rebound control and reads. Those are what Lehner needs to work on some more to be an elite goalie.

I honestly believe Bishop has number 1 potential and solid 1b potential. I think he will do a great job for us.

Would you say he's infallible?

Excited to see Bishop but wish Auld would be waived and we could rock Lehner / Bishop until Andy came back.

I'm all for the recall of Bishop. It's the first year of a rebuild. Good time to see what the youngins can do without burning them. Making the playoffs this year is candy, not a priority. Now if we were to become such a crappy team as to miss the playoffs three years in a row with all the talent we have in the pipeline, in a league where more than 50% of the teams reach the postseason each year, then I'm sure there would be crowds of torches & pitchforks converging on Scotiabank Place yelling Viva La Revolucion! Viva Max!!

It is great to see that our management is in no rush to rush the development of our elite prospects. Lehner needs a little more seasoning but the meal is gonna be delicious when its done.

Till then, lets enjoy the appetizer that is Benjamin Button Bishop.
