That's what some people are saying. Doubt the Leafs need a third #2 though.

It's more about getting some support for Reimer. A mentor and second goalie coach. Also, a guy who's a bit more steady in his play and mentally.

I just don't think Reimer is a very good goalie, or at least he's playing the wrong style.

He's trying to play a blocking style like Price, but when you watch Price, 9 times out of 10 he directs the rebounds into the corner, or he catches them. Reimer fails to do this the majority of the time, often leaving rebounds sitting a couple feet in front of him.

Turco is horrible. Don't see why anyone would claim him. Better off just giving him to the bruins.

Toronto's goalie coach suspiciously seems like he is not a fit for their goaltenders.

I don't know why teams hire goalie coaches to come in and change their goaltenders play style just because he worked with someone successful in the past.

These guys are at least 18 years old before they're in the NHL, they've had plenty of time to perfect their style of play. Hiring a guy to help them with complimentary skills like puck handling is fine though.

3-1 for the Jets. Looks like the Leafs have a bigger hill to climb.

****ing oilers...

i ask my friend at work, who's an oils fan: "could you guys win this one for us please?"

he says: "nope sorry, too busy sucking".

they are beyond horrible... they have 3 decent forwards of which 2 are first overall and one is a mid-first round pick, the other nine suck monkey toes. but yeah sure, let's tank for a few years so we can pick up a bunch of really awesome players; he only checks the box scores now, he can't stand watching them play and i already feel the same about the habs after half a season of being truly terrible

the nhl needs a sucking (tanking) limit tbh

yes, im mad

The Oilers and Islanders are a good argument for relegation. Though the Panthers likely making the playoffs gives me hope that even those two will be competent someday.

I'll be starting a new thread on my belief that the NHL should not allow a top 3 pick three years in a row. ****ing tanking *****.

Oh, and fans won't watch a **** team 3 years in a row while they tank? They will with young exciting stars on it. Get off my lawn Buttman.
