bruins got jipped!!!!!!!!!

I saw the replays of the game between the habs and bruins, there was no highstick and the bruins scored later, you can see the puck clearly in the net but no one noticed on the bruins so it didn't get reviewed. The final score should have been 5-1 instead of 3-1.Even with 2 goals less we still lost.I saw this on rds sports this morning.

What the hell is the point of this thread?

A) Who cares?
B) They still got the win

Who cares? So they got jipped a goal, big deal. They're the B's and I hope they get jipped right out of the playoffs if it means the Habs getting in.

It would have been 4-1, if anything. I doubt we would have pulled the goalie down three.

So what? You can't get more than 2pts for a win and the loser cannot get less than 0pts.

They got gipped of a goal for sure on the video replay, but the high stick on the Murray non-goal was clear and obvious.

Actually the rule make it clear that if the ref or the team (here the Bruins) don't ask for the replay before the next faceoff, it's too late for a review....

So you only have to blame the Bruins coachs/players for not asking a review.. even if they were'nt sure..

Remember in 2004 when the Habs came back to beat the Bruins after being down 3-1. That was great, wasn't it?

The point being the Bruins got screwed ... who cares?

you can only blame the refs because Boynton ask for a reviews here the story :

http://bruins.bostonherald.com/bruin...ticleid=124285

“I told the ref right away and he said ‘We’ll wait till the whistle and they’ll call down.’ And nothing happened,” defenseman Nick Boynton said. “It didn’t make much of a noise, right? So that’s what I thought (that it went in) and we said to them right away. Then nothing happened on the next whistle and that was it. (The ref) said ‘(The video replay official) has to call down.’ It was a screw-up on their part, but luckily it didn’t hurt us.”

Boynton then added with a laugh: “We’re not in Montreal, we’re in Boston. We’re supposed to get those calls.”

I wish these things happened more often in the ACC. The officials have piled up a huge back debt to all visiting teams in Toronto. They would have to call 14 Leaf penalties a game for 5 years to wipe the slate clean.

Wow, breaking news, this just in. NHL officials make bad call. You heard it here first folks. Some people will always remember the occassion when they first heard the words "One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind" and a whole new generation will remember the night the Bruins put the puck in the net and it didn't count. A true tragedy of our time. May they rest peacefully in 9th position until the seasons end. Bless

The goal was good ? so what ? in 1976 ,Lafleur scored a goal againts Gerry Cheever, and the refree refused it because he didn't see it ; so we only won 7-2 ....
