Crank up the Biron to Chi-town rumours!!
Thibault to have hip surgery
http://tsn.ca/nhl_network/news_story...me=nhl_network
The injury leaves the Blackhawks with two inexperienced goaltenders on the roster. Rookie Michael Leighton is winless in three games since replacing Thibault. He allowed five goals on 21 shots before being replaced in Wednesday's 6-2 home loss to Calgary. Leighton, who played in eight NHL games last season, is being backed up by rookie Craig Anderson, a Chicago-area native who was taken in the third round of the 2001 draft.
Any possibility? Thoughts?

Yes. It wasn't on ESPN or Sharpshooters, so this thread may live!
Bell or Calder?

I'd def. want Mark Bell in a package for Biron if he went to Chicago.

Good point.
But I'd take Bell over Calder as he fits Buffalo needs. Seabrook would be real nice.

This is the Blackhawks we are talking about..
For Biron we may end up with Ruutu, Calder, Daze and a 1st just for taking the Salary of Daze

Blockbuster:
Satan, Biron, Delmore, Novotny for Calder, Bell, Ruutu, Dempsey, Babchuk.
If this trade was made, every hockey player who played more than 5 games in the NHL from my high school would have played with the Sabres. Grant Fuhr and Stu Barnes would be the first two.
