Game Story
Currently the Ottawa Senators sit 7th in the eastern conference, and have so for most of the past month. However, a win today could move them up to 6th if New Jersey loses. A win will also put the Sens only one point behind Boston for the division lead, but the Bruins do will have four games in hand. Currently, the Sens are on a bit of a slide having lost their last two games to Florida and Chicago, tonight they will be hoping to get back to the winning ways they had before where they managed to get 15 of 18 points.
The Lightning's season has been a disappointing one, after being a game away from the Stanley Cup finals last year, this year Tampa Bay has been out of contention for most of the season. However if the can continue their four game winning streak, they will be two points out of a playoff spot, with a game in hand against the 8th place Jets.
